Yesterday, I picked up a take out order of 2 full chickens and a plate of Octopus. When I got home, i was shocked to see a plate of canned beans with some lettuce and 2 small pieces of octopus (smaller then my pinkie finger). I was sure that there was a mistake so I called the restaurant. I explained the lady on the phone my concern. She passed me to the owner. The owner did not even gave me the chance to explain and went on tell me that for $9 I should not expect more and that I should see how expensive it is Downtown. I was more upset about his attitude and arrogance. I do understand that for $9 I cannot expect too much, but 2 small pieces is exaggerated. Also he should not compare is hole in the wall in a run down shopping center that does mainly take out orders to a pricier restaurant like "La Sirene de la mer". I admit, the chicken is acceptable but at $17 for a take out SMALL chicken, it is a little pricey. Go to Adonis, and you get a large Charcoal BBQ chicken for $11.
