We started with an order of hushpuppies, which were overcooked (bordering on burnt). They were way too large and dense. My husband's crab cakes were coated in the same batter as the hushpuppies and were also nearly burnt. They resembled overly-thick hockey pucks on the plate. My chicken etouffee wasn't bad, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I had such high hopes for this restaurant based on the other reviews! It was crowded and the other diners seemed to be enjoying themselves, so maybe our experience was a fluke...
