I am speechless and I will tell you why. I went to this resto a few months ago (Sept 2010), and was looking forward to it because I heard great things about their poutine. When I got there, yes it's small and cramped, but I was really excited to try their food! I spoke to the server in english and I asked the server if there was a type of combination (burger and salad) that was offered, he looked at me with a blank stare and said everything was individual. So I went ahead and ordered my meal. At the end of paying, he mumbled something, so I asked him to repeat what he said. He then said "tips are greatly appreciated." I had no problem tipping him. And then I waited for my take-out order. While it was getting ready, I heard him constantly mumbling things in french to the cook, who was right beside him getting all the orders. I also noticed that he kept looking my way. All this happened with clients around. Eventually, I caught one thing he said. He told the cook, "yeah, that girl in the glasses (which was me), I'm gonna f*cking smash her head!" I was so offended, but did not want to say something because it was a full house. I probably should have said something to him. Little did he know that I was fluent in french. So... with all that said. I am appalled by the server (at the cash) of this restaurant. I have nothing bad to say about the food, but I did not have an appetite after all this happened. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant. It is your choice if you want to support a disrespectful owner, that believes it's okay to curse and swear off customers in his own language.
