Talay Thai
Côte-des-Neiges
Service
Nourriture
4.5

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Montreal. The restaurant is casual, and the service is usually quite efficient. It is a busy neighborhood, and often filled with students and medical staff from nearby universities and hospitals. The menu is diverse, but I strongly suggest the table d'hote. You get to choose one of their delicious soups (Tom Yum the best) and one of their amazing mains. I've tried the pad thai, the red curry (shrimp) but my favorite is the green chicken curry, with bamboo shoots. Their mango salad is spicy and tangy, their rice is perfectly sticky and the green curry packs a kick! On a hot day, try their iced tea, it is delicious!

Pushap
Pierrefonds-Roxboro
Service
Nourriture
4.0

This is the best Indian food in the city. And it varies from one Pushap to the other; the DDO one is the best from my experience. Their samosas are the best and are an incredible bargain! The portions are generally large, and very inexpensive. The only problem is sometimes the service is slow. But I have noticed a change for the better as of late. We have eaten in, but prefer taking out. If you're taking out, make sure to order a good 20 minutes before. Meals for 2-4 people for takeout are always below 10$ per person (tax and tip included).
