Where do I start? First of all, after having heard about La Verita on numerous occasions through mutual friends, I finally decided to stop in and see what all the fuss was about. I walked in on a busy Saturday night and was taken aback by the warm ambience and welcoming staff. Once we got comfortable and looked over the menu, I had to deal with the inner battle of having to choose from the plethora of delicious sounding appetizers, followed by the main course selection ranging from traditional pasta dishes to an array of meats. I decided to go with the mozzarella di bufala to start followed by the lobster ravioli. The hype was spot on, the food was incredible. To top it all off, the owner, Derek, introduced himself and ensured that our first visit at La Verita would be an experience to remember. The service was top notch, the waiter was charismatic, the ambience was just right and the food was to die for. I would highly reccomend this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed.
