REGGAE RISES AGAIN IN MONTREAL
What started out in a small club in Barbados a few years ago, Nouvelle Vie's creation of the RISE brand has quickly expanded to stadium-sized concerts across the Caribbean; from Barbados to St. Vincent, Grenada, and now here in Montréal, Canada.
Taste of the Caribbean in a brand-new co-presentation with Nouvelle Vie, and in co-production with Digital Bridge Music and The Mahaba Youth Alliance, present the 'MONTRÉAL RISE REGGAE FESTIVAL' this August 8-10th, 2025 at the Bassin Peel quay in Griffintown. A long-awaited project, Montréal's reggae scene can once again rise to the occasion of having a 3-day long festival with international artists.
The festival will feature an intimate full-scale live band production of artists from a wide range of reggae and reggae-influenced genres of music, such as dancehall, soca, reggaeton, as well as afro-beat, konpa, and zouk. Artists from the province of Quebec and across Canada, will also have special performances during the festivities.
Tickets are officially on sale now and will soon be available at local outlets.
