Les Lauriers de la Gastronomie Québécoise is an annual celebration that aims to recognize and honour the finest artisans in Quebec's culinary culture by awarding 17 official statuettes across distinct categories. The 2025 edition of the Lauriers Awards will take place next spring.

More than 100 finalists, representing a wide range of culinary disciplines and regions, were selected by the members of the Brigade and an independent jury chaired by Normand Laprise.

This year's cohort, spanning from the Outaouais region to the Îles-de-la-Madeleine, reflects the richness and diversity of Quebec's culinary landscape. Through this initiative, Les Lauriers continues its mission to spotlight the many individuals and enterprises shaping the local and regional gastronomic scene.

On May 26th, 2025, the 7th edition of the Lauriers Gala will take place.

This year, nearly 5,200 nominations were submitted. The selection of finalists and winners is based on votes cast by the Lauriers Brigade, which includes over 8,000 professionals from every sector of the Quebec culinary industry. Their votes (accounting for 50 percent of the final result) are combined with those of a distinguished jury of experts from across the field.

For this 7th edition, the jury is once again chaired by Normand Laprise, co-owner of the renowned Toqué restaurant and widely considered a pioneer of contemporary Quebec cuisine.

He is supported by a diverse and accomplished jury including Maxime Lizotte (consulting chef), Audrey Murray (Commission de la construction du Québec, formerly with the Ministry of Tourism), Geneviève Cantin (Quebec Tourism Industry Alliance), Pasquale Vari (ITHQ), Damien Girard (Viandes bio de Charlevoix), Geneviève Vézina-Montplaisir (Caribou), Alain Bélanger (AB2vin), and Marc-André Blais (Clefs d'Or concierge, Manoir Hovey).

The Homage Award will be presented this year to the late Daniel Pinard, a beloved and influential figure in Quebec's gastronomic community, in recognition of his remarkable contribution to the elevation of culinary culture and the celebration of all who work from the ground to the table.

On May 26th, let us celebrate Quebec gastronomy.

Les Lauriers is pleased to announce that the 2025 Gala will once again take place at New City Gas in Montréal. Artistic and culinary event designer Nicolas Fonseca will reimagine the format of the evening, transforming it into a festive and memorable celebration that will feature the participation of this year's finalists alongside past winners.

Tickets are now on presale.

Presale tickets are available at a special rate of $125 until April 30th (regular price: $150 starting May 1st). Don't miss this opportunity to take part in a unique and prestigious evening.
