Capisco: Where Italy and Peru Come Together at the Same Table

Capisco, the brand-new restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal, has officially opened its doors on the famous Saint-Paul Street. This third establishment by chef Marcel Larrea, in collaboration with his partner David Dumay and designer David Schmidt, offers a unique experience that blends Italian and Peruvian cuisine in a chic yet relaxed atmosphere. With a creative menu and delicious cocktails, Capisco has quickly become a must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy a culinary journey without leaving Montreal.

Capisco reinvents Italian classics by adding a bold Peruvian twist. Imagine carbonara pasta enhanced with aji amarillo, crispy guanciale, and a perfectly creamy egg yolk, or tender boneless beef short ribs served with gnocchi in a huancaína sauce. The experience is elevated by a carefully curated wine list from sommelier Sébastien Jacques, offering the perfect harmony between dishes and wine.

With its large central bar, Capisco is also the ideal spot to enjoy cocktails crafted by Joseph David while sharing refined bites. Led by the creators of the popular Club Pelicano, this new space delivers a unique culinary experience, combining unforgettable flavors with an inviting atmosphere.

Come and experience it for yourself - we can't wait to see you there!
