Lauriers 2025 announces its finalists: Montreal well represented in this 7th edition
RestoMontréal attended the press conference held at Lightspeed's headquarters in Old Montréal, where the finalists for the 2025 edition of Les Lauriers were officially announced. The event marks the start of the voting period ahead of the Gala taking place on May 26th at New City Gas.
A Meaningful Tribute to Those Who Feed Quebec
This 7th edition features 17 categories highlighting the wide range of trades that shape the industry, from chefs and sommeliers to bakeries, restaurants, service, events, and collective initiatives. Over 5,200 submissions were received.
Finalists are selected by the Lauriers Brigade, a group of over 8,000 industry professionals. An independent jury also plays a role in the process, chaired by Normand Laprise (Toqué).

A Tribute to Daniel Pinard
This year's Homage Award will be presented posthumously to Daniel Pinard, honouring his essential role in shaping Quebec's food culture and his lifelong commitment to the transmission of culinary knowledge.
