What a discovery in Villeray area! Delicious portuguese dishes. The octopus is delectable, along with calamars and the chicken fillets or brochettes are irresistable. You'll definitely want to come back for more!
A nice find in the heart of Verdun! A BYOW with a interesting fusion of curry tastes. Highly recommended are the octopus, the chicken, and the lamb. Very affordable, service was alright, spacing is tight, but you definitely return for the delicious food.
A quaint restaurant, delicious food, menu has some traditional selections, BYOW, very affordable, packed place, a good steal in Brossard. Go for it!
I wanted to try a new BYOW resto and was pleasantly surprised with this discovery. Minimal spacing is no big deal once you begin eating. The small entrees were delicious and we got a free gaspacho soup with it. For main meal, my friend had shrimp and I had a vivaneau fish. Both meals were delicious. The dessert was succulent, I recommend the brownie, mmm. For 2, it cost around $90, and that's worth the price when so much was included. It's charming little resto in the heart of the Plateau, go check it out!
I know indian food very well and this place has everything going for it. The ambiance is welcoming and the weekend entertainment (dancers) add more glamour to your evening. The menu for 2 is the best deal to try a variety of meat or vegetarian dishes and the pricing is a steal. To top it off, the service is very fast and the hosts are very friendly to make you feel at home. If you are into currys and spices, then visit one of the best Indian restos in the South Shore. Highly recommnded!
What a great find! A menu that will make you order less, feel full, and wanting more. Very meaty sushis...well put together. The chef gave us the wrong rolls and we still got to keep it while they made us our original order. Highly recommended: sushi pizza ($18.95) but its one of the best I've tried, not too fried, it has layers and you can select the fish you want...including LOBSTER...yummy!! Also good was Plateau Mont Royal and Favori Tri. Good selection, great price. Only bad thing is its cramped and you feel rushed to leave. But overall, can't wait to go back or order out. Make sure to make reservations and ask for water since you can't bring any alcohol and they don't serve any Enjoy! :D
What a discovery in the South Shore! Its not ghetto at all! Its a small, quaint resto, classy for couples or friends. Its a bring your own wine resto with excellent variety of sushis. The specialities recommended: Romeo and Juliette Taru Taru There are a variety of sushi with generous portions of fish. Make sure to make a reservation as they overbook to fill the restaurant and make sure you tell them not to sit by the door because they always try to offer that table first.
Yuukai is in my top 5 sushi restaurants in Montreal. I got to discover it on my birthday and since then have gone back to enjoy the different varieties of sushi. There are many specialities and entrees, all distinct in taste and good quality. Recommendation for entrees: beef sashimi and Harumaki As for sushis: DRAGON EYES are a must. I usually am not fond of Salmon Kamikaze but it was delicious. Yuukai is very affordable for lovers of sushi that eat too much. As a bonus, its a BRING YOUR OWN WINE...reservation is highly recommended, especially in the evening. PS: there is an SAQ right next door
Excellent variety of food, especially in the table d'hote menu. We got personalised service with attentive staff that were able to recommend excellent wine choices for our meals. The calamar tapas, portuguese sausage, salmon and salads were delicious. Great place to go with a small or big group.
