The venue is truly magnificent & historic, offering a Victorian ambiance that I found very appealing & was the primary reason for my visit✨?. Due to our late reservation at 10 PM, the rooms were already closed, preventing us from seeing the space at its best though I found that understandable. My main disappointment, however, was the quality of the meal 💔. Given its status as a Michelin-starred establishment, my expectations were significantly higher. Both the steaks🥩 & the beef Wellington🍄 were quite bland, lacking proper seasoning & any distinguishing features, which left me feeling rather let down. The beef tartare was an excellent highlight & truly perfect in every regard😋, & I sincerely hope the restaurant will consider improvements to the rest of the menu.

Surprisingly gorgeous historical interior & exceptional service, drinks, & food! We sat at the bar & enjoyed our bartenders immensely. Cocktails were well crafted with care & flair - even when ordering off-menu. Loved the truffle eggs!

As others have mentioned, the place is beautiful & elegant, & we were really impressed by the surroundings.
The food was good, but perhaps not as impressive as we had expected. Nothing was bad at all-we simply expected a little more given the restaurant & its reputation. We also felt that the portion sizes were on the smaller side for the prices.
The service was friendly & attentive, but unfortunately quite slow. We waited about 30 minutes between our starters & main courses, which was a bit longer than expected.
Overall, we had a nice experience & enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere, but we probably wouldn't return.

The food is delicious but the loud club music at night makes me choose other restaurants. The attitude from staff has been rude since the restaurant opened its doors. Shame because it is a gorgeous venue. Good place to bring friends to who are new to Montreal/ just keep your expectations low & enjoy a beautiful example of Montreal's English history.
