Managed to arrive before all the reservations rolled in & had the place to myself. The owner was so gracious & welcoming. The food was incredible - some of the best indian I've ever had. Get the channa samosas to start!!
Food isn't terrible but it's a Pakistani take on Indian food, thus authentic flavor is lacking. Ingredients are good but not my type of food. What I am disappointed about is that they don't clarify that their specialty is Pakistani food & not Indian.

Several years ago, I was walking with my daughter in her stroller, trying to decide what I felt like eating, when I happened to notice Zyka's sign. I love Indian food, so I walked in. It turned out to be the restaurant's opening day. I congratulated the kind & elegant lady who welcomed me so warmly & served me a generous, delicious tandoori meal.
I will always remember that first visit among the dozens of times I've returned since. Why? Because that day stayed with me.
After finishing my meal like a queen, I reached for my wallet to pay… & realized I didn't have it. I felt so embarrassed. I even offered to leave my phone with her while I went to get the money. I only had my baby & my phone with me, so I had to make a choice 💁🏻?♀?😂! She refused & insisted on offering me the meal for free. I felt even worse hahah, but also deeply touched by her kindness & generosity.
I went straight home, grabbed my wallet, & came back immediately to pay my bill with a tip big as my appreciation. There was no way I wouldn't pay & especially not on their opening day 😅✨ First & last time it happened to me lol
Today, my daughter is 13 years old. I still stop by Zyka whenever I'm in the area & feeling a little or very hungry, whether I'm alone or with company. The food is always delicious, the lunch buffet is varied & satisfying, & that same warm smile & positive energy from the owner are still there. Her daughter is wonderful too.
The food is soooo good! We've tried so many Indian restaurants & they never compare. We always come back to Zykaa even though we've moved out of Montreal!
Friendly staff & delicious food. Ive lived in park ex which is known for its quality Indian food & coming here was like eating there. A surprising gem in the neighborhood.
Absolutely loved this place! The butter chicken was bursting with flavour-hands down the best I've ever had. Perfectly spiced & tender. The naan was fresh & the service was top-notch. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. I'll definitely be coming back for more!
Awesome food! Family owned business & made fresh so its worth the price & is always warm when I order for take out. It's a hidden gem I recommend everyone to go eat the best Indian food there. Butter chicken is a must to eat :) thank you for your kindness when serving me & thank you to the kind woman in the front that was entertaining my daughter & gave her a dessert ❤?
P.S. I've tried a ton of Indian restaurant & this one tops them all.
While visiting Montreal, I was in the mood for some comforting Indian food & decided to place an Uber Eats pickup order from Zykaa around 8 PM.
The food was simple & decent - nothing fancy, but it did the job when you're craving something familiar.
For the price, it's fair & the portion sizes are generous, which is always a plus for takeout. While the flavors weren't quite as authentic as I was hoping for, it still made for a satisfying meal.
I also tried the Gulab Jamuns - they were okay, though a little different from the traditional taste I'm used to.
The service was friendly & smooth, & it's nice that they have parking available either behind the restaurant or on the street nearby.
If you're looking for an easy, no-fuss Indian meal at a good price, Zykaa is a nice little spot to consider.
If you are looking for great & authentic indian/pakistani food in the east part of Montréal this is the place. The portions are generous & the staff is welcoming!

Delicious indian food! Perfect place to have lunch or super at! The food is not too spicy, so it fits all kinds of palates
The place is cozy & the owners are really kind & polite
I recommend !!
It was a pleasant surprise discovering this restaurant walking distance from our place. Tasty authentic Indian cuisine. If you like it spicy, they deliver. The owners & staff are friendly & the place is nice.
We were a party of 4. We ate linke kings & queens. The food was perfect (taste, temperature, portion size). We shared a mixed entree, it was delicious. After we all took a main meal & 2 naans each. The garlic naan was great & the onion very good. We all agree that it was the best Indian food we had in a long time. We will go back for sure.

Directly from the West Island this Pakistani family decided to open a restaurant in the heart of trendy Tetreaultville! Aunty Jasmine is adorable always wearing her beautiful saris! They make you feel so welcome & the Pakistani/Indian food is one of the best in the island of Montreal. A must try place. You won't regret it. Please keep bringing Bollywood music. They started to offer a buffet at noon. I need to drop by. Look at the pictures.
Yasmin & her family own & run this place. Of the vast culinary repertoire of Pakistani & Indian cuisine, she shares some of the most popular dishes, all bursting with warmth & flavour. A true diamond in the rough, Zykaa most definitely elevates the neighborhood's resto scene!
Who knew that there would be a good Indian/Paki restaurant in the east side of the island? Look no further, but here! Delicious food & generous portions, peaceful & well decorated atmosphere & of course, heartwarming service! Very flavorful dishes! Adjustable spiciness level, would definitely come back to try the other dishes! Recommended if you're in the area!
