I recently visited this Lebanese restaurant for the first time, & it was truly an amazing experience. As an Iranian, I've tried many Middle Eastern cuisines before, but this place really stood out.
The food was absolutely perfect - fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The service was also excellent; every member of the staff was respectful, kind, & genuinely caring. The ambiance was wonderful too - great music, a warm atmosphere, & an overall sense of comfort that made the evening even more enjoyable.
I especially want to appreciate the store manager for the way he personally cared about us & made sure everything was perfect. The prices were also very reasonable considering the quality & experience.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves, & I'll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
A hidden oasis.
Refined, scrumptious, colourful, creative, fresh & healthy food. A stylish, comfortable, light & airy setting.
Un service attentif.
Une carte de vins raffinée.
Un espresso élégant.
Dix étoiles.
Classic Lebanese restaurant with a classic menu & a zen & simple yet fresh set up. A very nice terrace as well. Has also a show with a belly dancer on Saturday nights for a very good price including the set menu with a wide variety of Lebanese dishes. Freshly baked pita bread at will served throughout your whole dining experience. A full bar & a wide selection of wines with a very interesting Lebanese wines selection that are award winning & worthy of trying. Delicious Lebanese desserts to end the meal with & Lebanese/turkish coffee also available.
The food was delicious & fresh & authentic. Our server Danielle was very friendly & delivered great service. The atmosphere is very cute & quaint. The pricing is great for the value.
Excellent in every way, lovely ambiance, nicely decorated, very clean, & our out of town guest who had never tasted Lebanese food before adored every minute! We highly recommend the trio of dips & platter of kofta, chicken & shish kebab - also the toum was fantastic! Authentic, fresh & great flavors, we will be returning :)
Went there for a birthday, the food was tasty, the bread was so good & fresh out of the oven & the staff was super friendly! Thank you Zyara
Very good food, everything was fresh & tasty. The staff is super friendly & makes you feel like home. Coming back for sure!
We went slightly after usual lunch time & the place was not too busy. Staff were all extremely friendly & helpful about answering questions & took the trouble to double-check on an allergy issue. The food was served quickly & was all excellent. The pita was served fresh to the table & clearly made either in house or very locally & came with a dish of fresh Zatar in oil. The fattoush salad was fresh, tasty & came in a generous portion. The lentil soup was also excellent (It is a pureed soup, fyi). We also had the Makanek sausages (If you like lemon, they are great), the chicken shish taouk, & chicken schwarma. Everything was fresh, well seasoned & well cooked & portion sizes are ample. They nailed the cook on the side potatoes (Batata Harra). Nothing was over-spiced, but everything was flavorful. I would definitely go back for a special occasion.
Outstanding Lebanese encounter! Situated in the marché central, parking is a breeze 😉 The team transports you to Lebanon with their heartfelt welcome & superb hospitality. Impeccable service ensured we lacked nothing. Culinary delight! Authentically traditional, bursting with genuine flavors. Freshness & undeniable quality shine through. My only suggestion is to showcase the mezza in their classic round bowls rather than one large divided plate. The piping hot bread & delectable baba ghanouj are truly noteworthy. A return visit is a must-wholeheartedly recommended!
As usual , enjoyed the good quality of the food & a most welcoming service & atmosphere. We ordered the Lebanese steak tartare & grilled kafta & salads , very fresh & tasty. Thank you Zehra's team
The atmosphere is very modern & homely but it can get very noisy if there are parties going on especially when the music is loud.
I had the vegetarian tasting menu which comes with 6 mezzaz warm dishes & 6 cold mezzaz dishes. They accommodated my dairy intolerance.
Overall I liked the cold dishes (hummus, muhammara, fatouch, tabouleh & stuffed vine leaves); for the most part everything fresh, filling & wholesome. The stuffed vineleaves were underwhelming & weren't as flavorful.
The warm mezzaz were alright. We got sautéed cauliflower, vegé kebbeh, falafel, potatoes, & a spiced rice. The cauliflower was very flavorful & was the clear winner while the other items were okay. The spiced rice was not good. We ended of with baklava which was good, a little bit of extra syrup would have helped.
Overall my experience was decent. Some of the vegé dishes could use some help. On the hand, the service was great; I liked that there's always someone bringing by fresh pita or filling your water.
This place crosses out ALL that's essential in a restaurant. Great food (alot of it for what you pay), ambiance, & service!
We were a big group so we had to have the group menu. It did not disappoint! Not only did we get to try a lot of the things in the menu but we were so full by the end of it, we had leftovers to bring home. The warm, fresh pita at the start of the first course was just amazing! The place was also instagrammable ; it had an Arabin nights feel to it. & last but not least, we had the nicest servers & waitresses! They were attentive & quick to act. I highly recommend this place to get your lebanese food fix or just to have a date with loved ones. Will go back again for sure!
Went there with a birthday dinner & to say it was perfect would be insufficient! Service was excellent the food out of this world & the wine at a perfect temperature! The fresh bread yumm so highly recommend this place! Birthday boy said it was the best Lebanese food he ever had.
Unfortunately the food is not well executed Lebanese food. The Tabbouleh was inedible, sujuk also poorly spiced & not prepared fresh.
Beautiful ambiance & superb tasting menu. Everything was fresh, inviting, & tasted great! Drinks were given the Lebanon twist & enjoyable too!
The staff was very pleasant & accommodating.
Definitely will go back.
Very good tasty fresh food well presented.
Staff attentive,
One of my best restaurant experience.
Long live Zyara.
See you soon
We have lived zyara for so long & it never disappoints. Best Fatouche in Montreal by far & fresh perfectly balanced dishes.
I highly recommend the restaurant. We did take out on a Friday night & were very impressed with the quality, presentation & freshness of the food. We overate because of it but it was worth it. They also have a very efficient system of ordering. Will definitely be back.
