Zante was outstanding. The menu is diverse, the portions enormous (& delicious), the service attentive & friendly, & the people watching interesting. The Greek salad is wonderfully fresh & big enough for two people. The crab cake appetizer is big enough to be a main & the cakes are all crab meat. The grilled octopus also was large enough to be a main, & was perfectly cooked & tender. The veal chop was outstanding. & the dessert (Greek donuts with honey) were delectable. We definitely will return on our next visit to Montreal.

Les plats servis à notre table était très bons ainsi que le dessert, spécialité du resto, une fusion de 2 incontournables pâtisseries : un Tiramisu avec une baklava, une délicieuse découverte. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, on se croirait presque en Grèce!

Petit choix de plats en table d'hôte pour le lunch. Assiette de morue délicieuse & cuit à perfection. Les serveurs sont abréable. Par contre, l'ambiance à de la place à l'amélioration. Peut-être plus sympa en soirée.
Dinner was excellent, the Veal cop cooked to perfection. I would have preferred the plates not to have been removed until everyone at the table was finished. Service friendly
We are residents of the United State & so I asked my friend who lives in Montreal to give the names of her favorite restaurants to me. Zante was the first name on her list. Now we know why. The food is exquisite- beautifully prepared, very fine quality, a full menu with lots of wonderful choices, & absolutely delicious. Our waiter was charming, professional, & attentive. Prices are reasonable. Come to Zante. I think you will be delighted as we were. Anita
