via LibroThe problem with Zante is that once is never enough. You ALWAYS want to come back for more.. & so I did. Why fight over which salad to get ? Get a few.. they are insane. Few places have Staff that recall you were there not long ago & come to say thank you & hello. Out of the ball park again on all fronts.
Very pricey for standard Greek food, fish was cooked well however our roasted vegetables that was suppose to be the side was scorched french beans. Ordered a pre-dinner drink & had 3 sides served before even finishing my drink, in & out in 1 hour at the end the waiter brought the bill & was hovering at the table waiting for it to be paid. Asked for some leftovers to be brought home to our daughter, they never brought it back. Felt like eating at a fast food restaurant where there are no reservations & a line up waiting to get in! There of course was no line up. Very disappointed, it was our wedding anniversary dinner & we had planned on dining at a Montreal Greek restaurant that is without contest the #1 in the city, didn't because of a recommendation to eat at Zante .... big mistake

via LibroThe food was excellent & overall OK experience. Some advice though: Your waiters would benefit of additional covid training. There was too much unnecessary traffic of waiters chatting informally with customers. In many of these occasions waiters were wearing the mask or face shield unproperly placed or completely lowered. This would have been OK & nice in regular times but in this new normal this is putting everyone at risk. It is going to take all of us to keep the situation under control in Quebec. It would be prudent for your staff to be a bit more careful about following guidelines from public health officials.
