Review Summary

Yolky is widely regarded as a hidden gem in Montreal, celebrated for its fluffy, generous, and visually appealing egg sandwiches that feature fresh ingredients and flavorful sauces. While the atmosphere is frequently described as cute and cozy, the location is small with very limited seating, making it primarily a takeout destination for many visitors. Feedback on the dining experience is largely positive, with frequent praise for the friendly service and high-quality drinks, though some patrons noted that the sandwiches can be quite messy to eat and the fillings are occasionally concentrated at the top. Although most customers are delighted by the crispy hash browns and overall value, a few reviewers mentioned minor inconsistencies regarding ingredient availability and payment methods, yet many express a strong desire to return for another visit.

Delish👌🏼 the bread, the hashbrown, the tea. All on point.

Super cute restaurant! 🍳

CLASSIQUE BLT: 4/5
The ham sandwich was good enough for two people to be honest! It was tasty, toasts were buttery & crispy. It was fun to try it.

GREEN TEA FRUIT PASSION: 4/5

There is two stools where you can eat if you are lucky. Otherwise it's mostly to go. It was a cute place to try at least once 😙

Tried the pepper beef sandwhich with a plum green tea. The flavors are there but it was very awkward to eat. The egg is on top & the beef is at the bottom so it's pretty much impossible to have a bite of everything. The drink was good & refreshing but just slightly too sweet.

The inside is tiny with only 3 seats against a wall. However, it's very cute & nicely decorated.

This is the quaintest little egg shop in Montreal! 🥚🍳The decor is clean & crisp, & the logo is so cute. 😊
It's a bit tucked away in an unassuming building, so the store can be a bit hard to find.

We ordered the Combo Classique BLT, & the Combo Jambo & Fromage, each come with a hash brown. We also ordered one green tea & citrus, & one passionfruit juice.🥤🥤

Firstly, this is not for the health conscious.💪🏾😉 The hash brown is large, crispy & oily, but so yummy. 😋 The sandwiches are made from brioche bread sliced down the middle, but not cut all the way through. The egg & other toppings are stuffed in between the slices & capped off with mayonnaise drizzled across the top.

They are not the easiest sandwiches to eat. They're messy, not easy to hold, but, they are delicious!!😋😋

The space is small, we took our meals to go & found seating outside along the sidewalk where we enjoyed the sandwiches.

Amazing food with excellent service!! Must try in Montreal Chinatown. I tried the drumstick sandwich & the jasmine tea with salty prunes. The sandwich was full of meat, the egg was so creamy & tender, & the sauce was really special, sweet & sour. Very yummy! The drink was so fresh, not very sweet & full of tea fragrance. Strongly recommended!
