Yiayia's Bread Company est une petite entreprise basée à Montréal. Nous sommes un duo de fabrication de pain grand-mère et petit-fils, utilisant les méthodes traditionnelles grecques de cuisson que ma yiayia (qui signifie « grand-mère » en grec) m'a enseignées depuis que je suis enfant.
Déguster une tranche de pain maison chaud lors des visites chez yiayia était une bénédiction devenue habituelle, mais un soir d'hiver, une idée m'a frappé alors que je dégustais ce délicieux nuage de pâte moelleuse. Je lui ai dit que le pain qu'elle faisait était tellement bon qu'il pourrait facilement être vendu, et sans hésiter, sa douce voix grecque aiguë m'a répondu : « Fais-le. »
Et je l'ai fait. Aujourd'hui, Yiayia's Bread Company est dirigée depuis sa cuisine, où j'ai passé des années sous son aile à apprendre ses méthodes. Les pains sont faits frais, à la main, avec le soin et l'amour que yiayia Niki m'a toujours montrés.

Pain, produits grecs importés, huile d'olive extra vierge, feta biologique, origan biologique et savons à l'huile d'olive entièrement naturels et non parfumés.

Emilio & Yiayia Bread Company is fantastic!!!! Placed an order for almost everything & was absolutely delighted with everything (think I gained 5 lbs.)?
Emilo delivered the bread (still warm, so the breads were just out of the oven for sure). Emilio brought our order straight into our kitchen, identified each loaf, telling my sister & I to enjoy, which we sure did -- had some even before supper -- couldn't wait!!!!
I especially love Chai, & the flavour that flowed through the bread was outstanding; my sister loved the raisin & honey loaf, (me too), however, their other loaves were just as outstanding, plus the bottle of Olive Oil was extremely tasty, has a really good flavour!
On a personal observation, Emilio's smile & personality is infectious -- a charming, caring & presentable young man -- his Yiayia (who I will definitely go to meet in the New Year), must be very proud of him , & for good reason, know she is, plus know Emilio adores his Yiayia, you can tell when he speaks of her -- that's love in his voice & in his heart!!
We shall definitely be placing orders again soon, & will continue to savour each & every bite!!
Just want to say before closing -- place an order, you will NOT be disappointed, then sit back, relax & enjoy!!!

The service & the people & the food is probably one of the most engaging & hospitable & warming I've had in this winter. hundred percent recommend the chai bread because have you ever had bread that taste so good that you want to dip it in everything sweet & & be reborn into this world?

Wonderful breads, & better than the ones I bake myself at home. I enjoy them so much I am now a regular customer. I recommend Yiayia to anyone in the west-island: it is worth the trip, & they can also deliver!

The breads were a total hit with the family! My kids loved the olive one the best but all the other ones were good too! I ordered the olive, chai & maple sugar one. All the breads were beautifully presented & still had a good bounce to them, even on day 2 & 3. Emilio delivered my breads fresh so I got a chance to try warm fresh bread. It was such a treat! My husband liked all of them & my fave was the maple sugar one. Emilio's story of making bread with his grandma is heart-warming & I will definitely be ordering more!

Fresh bread & absolutely delicious. Made without bleach or enriched ingredients. Highly recommended. Also they have natural soap from Greece unscented.

Wonderful fresh soft bread, & their olive oil is divine not bitter, & a green color I've rarely seen. Family run business & greeted us like family, got to meet Yia Yia (she's adorable!} The EVOO will be on reorder for us

My friend & client Maria told me that her son Emilio & his grandmother yaiyia .. where making bread together .. Well when I heard this story , I had to support Yiayia & Emilio .. Emilio was the sweetest . He help me understand the way it works to order on line .. so I ordered the Kalamata olive bread & I order the Greek olive oil .. Emilio delivered it to me with this amazing smile & so proud .. it was so nice to hear & see that this young man has something special going on with learning the old ways of life to him helping Yiayia & taking care of the social media .& the orders ..So tonite for Good Friday I decided I was going to have the kalamata bread with the Greek olive oil & balsamic vinegar...with sea food pasta well omg the bread the olive oil was sooooo good.. Check them out .. I promise you'll love it
