First time trying this place & I can tell you right away that we'll be back! The sushi is extremely fresh & we had some of the friendliest service. If you like unagi, this is your spot! I only wish I took more pictures because of all the food we had eaten. An absolute hidden gem!
The atmosphere was warm & cozy, which made the whole dining experience very comfortable. The sushi was absolutely outstanding - fresh, beautifully prepared, & full of flavor. The staff were also incredibly friendly & attentive. I truly enjoyed my time here & will definitely be returning on my next visit.
A very nice & cozy sushi place in VSL. The quality of the food served was near a 5 star. The staff were very passionate & kind. The only comment I can make is the dining area need better ventilation. Otherwise if you're ordering a takeout the food is great.

I ordered takeout from here & it was very disappointing. The sushi was bland & didn't taste fresh. The seaweed wraps were mushy & hard to chew, & the rolls kept crumbling & falling apart because of how dry they were. I also noticed they added large chunks of avocado, which felt like it was meant to make up for the lack of other ingredients.
Simply amazing! Been going to Ye Sushi with my wife for years now & the food is always fresh & tasty, service is impeccable as well. Gotta start with the delicious Won ton soup!
We tried this place for the first time.
Service: The girl who served us was super friendly, polite & on the ball.
Food: I took the miso soup, spring roll & #22 combo. Presentation & tast was great. Sushi was fresh rice was good.
The prices are very reasonable, there are many different combos for every taste & budget. Good variety of sushi.
The restaurant is small but still good enough space. I recommend you reserve in advance. We were a table of 7 & very comfortable.
I would definitely go back, the staff & food were very good.
Ye Sushi is a great sushi place, one of my favorite in Montreal! The menu offers a nice variety of options, especially the many sets that they have available. The sushi is always fresh, the staff is welcoming, friendly & nice. When dining in, they serve tea with every meal & always ensure the teapot is full. Oh & it's a BYOB, or as we much prefer, bring your own sake :)! We've only had good experiences with this restaurant. Highly recommend!
2025 Edit: it is no longer a BYOB, but they sell alcohol - sushi is still delicious :)

First time here, salmon poke was fresh & tasty. Lovely couple working there. I went for lunch on a weekday alone with my baby. The lady was very nice & helpful with my baby, food was served quick so I can enjoy & relax while the baby naps! So appreciated. Hope to be back soon!
We were practically alone in the restaurant. It took 45 minutes for our food to start arriving. They were clearly prioritizing delivery service orders.
The food was good & tasted fresh but the maki was poorly & loosely wrapped. We had to eat with our hands because the maki rolls were getting undone as soon as we touched them.
They give you the tiniest shreds of ginger & 2 drops of wasabi. You have to pay for extra.
$9 for 3 pieces of sashimi is highway robbery.
Prices are way too expensive.

Excellent sushi shop. Miso soup was very tasty. Sushi was fresh & delicious! Edamame could have had a bit more salt on them but still good. They would also benefit greatly from better ventilation as the smell of fish is strong upon entering. Despite that, great spot & we will return.
