I went to this pub with my friends for the habs playoff game. The ambiance was great with people cheering for the game.
Service was excellent, waiters checked up on us to make sure we had everything we had.
The food was good, but for the price we pay, it's not worth it. The sliders were like 17$. The poutine was good, but not 16$ good for that quantity. & finally the dessert was the most disappointing part of the meal. It looked like 4-5 fudge brownies from costco & some ice cream on top.
Overall, it was a great experience, but the food was lacking for me.
Went there to watch the gold metal hockey game. At 8:20, 10 minutes into the 1st period, they had saved 12 seats for people that were not there. 3/12 people of the'reserved' tables were there, & they made us get out of the empty seats & leave.
Again, for people who were not there. No reserved sign, it's 8 am in a bar btw; we're not at a restaurant on the 14th. Id like to mention the waitress said'shed lose her job' if she let us sit down in the empty tables. I don't blame waitstaff, but the inability for someone to realize how insane that situation is simply incomprehensible. The entire bar is full & you're saving 8 spots for people who are already late.
Had an amazing time watching the Leafs vs. Panthers final this past Sunday night, & the service at the pub was top-notch thanks to Taylor, Liv, & Finbar! Even with the place packed & the energy high, Taylor & Liv were incredibly attentive, friendly, & fast. Finbar's drinks were top notch as well. Perfect way to enjoy the game! Great vibes, better service, & I can't wait to come back!
The food is good & it's up fast. The atmosphere, also chill (I'd advise live music not to start until after a hockey game is done, & turn the volume of hockey games on, at least on the weekend).
The service here though, leaves much to be desired. From the blonde waitress & her passive aggressive behaviour, to servers not knowing their drinks or understanding drinks orders, to servers openly gossiping in front of customers about other customers, it's just an all-around mess.
Some tables are in the way of servers & servers take it out on the guests instead of problem-solving constructively.
I'm not one to be rude to any server, having been one myself, but service can really stand to be improved or the establishment needs to not underhire & overwork their staff before training them properly.
