We had the most amazing time at Le Balcon Terrasse! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mila, a beautiful, incredibly sweet, & so much fun Brazilian lady who truly is the heart of this place. She made us feel at home right away & brought such a wonderful energy to the whole experience.

The passion fruit caipirinhas were absolutely amazing, & the live Cuban band made the evening even more special. There was something magical about sitting there, enjoying great drinks & music, right on the steps of a beautiful church in the heart of Montreal. It was such a unique & unforgettable experience.

Incredible atmosphere!! We danced all night, met new people, the drinks were amazing, the apps delicious. The hostess Mila is INCREDIBLE. She encouraged us to dance, she'd vibe with the live band, she would go get people in the crowd & bring them to the front to dance. The night wouldn't have been the same without her!! She was glowing & had a smile all night. THAT is what hospitality is all about. What a night. We are so lucky to have a spot like this in Montreal 🙏🏻 Made memories I will cherish for life.

If you're hungry, this isn't the place to go.
What they did right:

So the 3 stars may seem a bit harsh, but it was just disappointing that that's the portion size for food at full price. At least for the burrata, maybe don't give see-through shavings of bread when it's $18 a plate ?? Shrimp (3) on the papaya salad also tasted like they were pre-frozen farmed kind - definitely no flavour on their own.

I really enjoyed the other aspects of this place though & likely will return, but it will be solely for the vibe & not a meal.

Me & my husband went here to eat for supper I hade the chicken wings with Lemon on them thay were very good I had the fries with them but Thay both were small portions & anything that you buy there is separate & for what you pay there almost like a bar my husband hade the calamari witch was another small portion for what you pay he said it was good thay also have a live band playing in back ground thay were very good the singer had a very nice voice said he was on Spotify my problem was we hade payed our bill I needed to go to the washroom witch was up stairs & I hade some sodas in a bag 3 of them were finished & I had one still full & the security guard there started accusing me of having alcohol in my bag witch I told her 3 times that I had no alcohol in my bag I didn't not drink anything there at all that was in a bag my bag was closed I hade no alcohol in my bag & it was sodas but she kept telling me I was not allowed alcohol there I was getting mad & I told them that it was soda I will not be going back there at all Thay will loose stars just for saying that I had alcohol in my bag & I didn't have any that's whay Thay have 2 stars ⭐⭐ & not more then that they would have hade more if I was not accused of having alcohol in my bag Thay should not accused people of having alcohol with out fact first unfortunately I will not be going back to that place

Where to start? From Mila's warm welcome, the perfect setting, great musicians, delicious food & drinks. This gem of terrasse is simply worth the detour. The ambiance was magical. Perfect for a date or just a night out with frinds. Dear boss get Mila her diamond's, she deserves it (inside joke).
