via LibroWe had a very lovely meal. I should've asked the server to explain what we ordering so I wouldn't be surprised at the "format" of the dish. For example, I didn't realize that the appetizer was going to be a twist on poutine. If I had known, I might have ordered something else. I was also expecting the guinea fowl to be a whole thigh, & not mashed into the shape of a spring roll. It was still very good, but I didn't really want reconstituted meal. it would've been nice if the server had provided a voluntary explanation or "warning" of what I was ordering, ie. can I explain how the guinea fowl is prepared? it would've been more appreciated.
