Review Summary

Vinh Hing offers authentic Phnom Penh style noodle dishes that are widely considered some of the best in Montreal, with the dry or soup-based options and meatballs receiving frequent praise. While the food is consistently highly regarded for its comforting flavors, guests should be aware that the restaurant is a small, cash-only establishment that can get busy, and the service is often described as minimal, indifferent, or grumpy. Experiences vary regarding professional standards, and visitors are encouraged to focus on the quality of the meal rather than the service, while also being prepared for potential wait times or automated gratuity policies.

I always order delivery. I wish they had the option to add/pay for extra sauce for the dry noodles.

The pho tasted diluted, not a big fan of the siu mai they offer but the Phnom Penh noodles are great with the donut is great. Don't really expect good service from them but it is quick.

Excellent Phnom Penh noodles soup. The broth is very tasty, no msg, not salty at all. Great food & nice service. I like the meat ball with the Chinese donut stick, a delight to pair with the soup!!💖🎶👏

Hole in a wall type of restaurant, it is very easy to walk by & not notice it, the place is small with old decor but that gives it its charm. They have a small menu but it's done right. The food was good & the price is reasonable. I got the dry Phnom Penh noodle & it came with a side of soup. Their meatball & Chinese donut is a must have!
