Located on ancestral land bordered by the Sainte-Marguerite River in the Saint-Grégoire area in Bécancour, Le Fief de la Rivière is a winery owned by the brothers Jocelyn and Jean-François Hébert.

The story began in 2008 when the brothers and their spouses began their journey to star a winery. The four partners planted their first vines: a 100 each of 10 different grape varieties.

Visitors describe Vignoble Le Fief de la Rivière as a small, charming local winery, visited during harvest when grapes were being picked. The wine tasting is regarded as a good value, with wines that are very dry overall except for fortified wine and ice wine, and all samples tried are excellent, among the best Quebec wines, not overly acidic. The concept and history are considered really interesting, and the vineyard was a chance stop that will become a future visit. The place is described as very clean, and the guided tour is extra and personal, leaving visitors surprised and delighted.

Nice small local winery. Visited during harvest & they were picking the grapes. Tried the 5 wine tasting for $10 was a good deal. Wines are very dry (except fortified wine & ice wine) & all of them I tried were excellent some of the best Québec wines i have tried/not too acidic.

Merveilleux produits! Le concept & l'historique sont vraiment intéressants. Le vignoble était un hasard sur notre route, un hasard qui deviendra un prochain rendez-vous. Merci pour ce moment unique 😊
