Le restaurant est petit, avec une odeur légèrement désagréable, rappelant un vieux salon mal ventilé. L'adaptation a été difficile au début. Il y avait même des chaises entreposées dans les toilettes, ce qui reste incompréhensible.
Les plats sont relativement chers compte tenu de l'ambiance - les prix varient entre 28 & 90 CAD. Les portions sont correctes, mais les saveurs laissent à désirer. Étonnamment, le porc, le poulet & les calmars avaient un goût très similaire, ce qui est assez déroutant.
La cuisine est plutôt banale. Nous avons voulu partager un cake pour celebrer l'aniversaire de notre groupe de 15 personnes, mais on nous a informés qu'un supplément de 5 CAD par personne s'appliquerait. De plus, partager un plat entraîne des frais additionnels de 9 CAD. Il n'est pas non plus possible de commander uniquement une entrée, car un montant minimum est exigé par personne.
Le seul point positif : il est permis d'apportez son propre vin.
Food: mediocre -> pasta penne (vegetarian) for 30$

Management refused to serve a pre- bought cake to serve at group party, & instead said would charge 5$ extra per person (14ppl) just to serve the cake.
When a patron chose not to tip the waitress due to the treatment received, the waitress turned to shaming that person (if front of the 13 other companions) by asking what part of her service wasn't good that she didn't deserve a tip & actually asked if they didn't have enough money to tip. As a patron, I regret having tipped that waitress myself with that type of entitlement & disregard for patrons.
They don't accept credit cards because they have to pay a fee.
With poor management decisions, unacceptable attitude/behaviour & entitlement from the waitress, & overpriced & mediocre food, I didn't enjoy my experience. We will not be going back, nor will we recommend this place to anyone else.
Management chose not to reform their policies or adapt to the situation, but to lose clients to save a buck instead. All we remember is: what we couldn't do & how the waitress behaved for her tip. 👎👎👎

We ordered for the first time. Excellent new taste of Portuguese chicken & tasty French fries. It's very salty so you may want to order drinks or have water handy. Totally recommend!
My new favourite resto! My husband discovered it because of its stellar ratings. When we pulled up I was a touch concerned - how good could a restaurant be that's situated in a strip mall? Answer: unbelievably good! When we walked in, I was very surprised by the ambiance. The decor is welcoming, cozy & inviting, & looks more like a place you would find in St Sauveur. Everyone who works there is warm, friendly & helpful, & we had a fantastic server - thanks Amelie! As for the meals? Oh my. My husband & I were blown away by the wide range of choices on the menu & how delicious everything was. I got the maple salmon on the table d'hote (please add it to the menu full time, it instantly became my favourite meal of all time) & my husband got the Portugese chicken plate. Everything was delectable, including the fresh generous side salad & the hot, tasty fries (yum). Even the veggies & rice were extra delish. The prices are very reasonable, considering how high-end the experience is, & it's even BYOW. I highly recommend Viana Sol! I know, I know, a bit out of the way, but trust us, it's well worth it.
Food was ordinary some was cold. The poutine was good tasting but soggy due to the very liquid sauce. Food is very expensive for what it is & the fact that they do not accept credit cards should lower prices. The service was excellent & friendly. Will not return or refer anyone.
Beau restaurant familiale apportez votre vin. J'ai appeler pour une commande Take Out. Poulet délicieux & portions généreuses. Par contre les frites n'étaient pas fraîches & le riz manquait de gout. Je vais ressayer c'est sur avant de donner un avis final.

J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de découvrir le restaurant Viana Sol à St-Hubert, sur la rive sud de Montréal, & je ne peux que recommander cet endroit charmant. Le menu est incroyablement varié, avec une attention particulière portée à mes allergies, notamment en ce qui concerne la contamination croisée avec le gluten, ce qui m'a vraiment rassuré. L'accueil était exceptionnel, chaleureux & attentif, ce qui a immédiatement mis l'ambiance dans le restaurant. Les plats étaient parfaitement exécutés : des assaisonnements équilibrés, une harmonie parfaite entre les saveurs, & des accompagnements délicieux. En plus, il est rare de trouver un restaurant qui propose du kangourou au menu, ce qui a été une belle surprise ! Viana Sol réussit le mariage parfait entre la cuisine traditionnelle portugaise & des touches modernes de haute gastronomie, le tout avec une subtile influence française. Une expérience culinaire de qualité, tout en restant fidèle aux racines & à l'authenticité de la cuisine portugaise. N'oubliez pas d'apportez votre vin. 😎 Enfin, un petit plus : vous pouvez aussi repartir avec des produits portugais pour ajouter une touche gourmande à vos paniers de Noël. Un lieu à découvrir absolument pour les amateurs de bonne cuisine & d'authenticité !
Vraiment belle expérience, service chaleureux soucieux du plaisir gastronomique de leur client. J'ai adoré, une très belle soirée d'anniversaire pour ma fille, ça m'a convaincu d'y revenir pour la mienne.
Good place to taste traditional Portuguese food, with ambience & service with it. Strongly recommend to come. They will be closed from July 22nd to August 14. They will be on Vacation.
I took one bite & I was transported back to Portugal! The grilled pork was so tender & the chicken was excellent. We enjoyed the house poutine & the portion sizes were huge! One suggestion is that the grilled calamari was too overcooked, but it has a nice charred lemon flavour! The nata was my absolute favourite. I would come back & visit this hidden gem again! Il y a 2 semaines mon gars n'avais plus de batterie pour nous rejoindre dans son cellulaire, la personne a la réception à permis à mon gars de nous appeler malgré que le commerce à côté ne lui a pas permis, la prochaine fois que nous voudrons manger portugais nous n'hésiterons pas à essayer ce restaurant, il y a de bonne personne à ce restaurant! Clairement il on un côté familial que certain n'on pas! Merci !!!
Wow le poulet est délicieux! Nous l'avons pris pour apportez jusqu'à sainte-Catherine & s'était chaud & bon comme si on avait mangé au restaurant! Je recommande vraiment ce restaurant portugais! Les accompagnements étaient aussi très bons! Leur frite maison incroyable! Les tartelettes 🤩Ça vaut le déplacement! Merci beaucoup!
C'était une expérience incroyable de manger ici. Les fruits de mer, la viande, tout était génial. Je recommande & profite de la passion d'un grand restaurant en couple ou en famille. Vous ne le regretterez pas.
