The chicken was juicy, tender & perfectly seasoned. The sides were flavorful & genuinely enjoyable. Portuguese poutine with Portuguese cheese was fantastic with homemade gravy & a very generous portion. House beer was delicious & paired perfectly. Beautiful atmosphere, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, ample parking. Yes they deliver, but support a local business & go there in person. Very satisfied & proud this is a local business in my neighborhood.
We came in on a weekend. Excellent chicken. Friendly people working here. Small dining room. We really enjoyed the chicken.
My fiancé & I recently ordered from this restaurant & were completely blown away by the experience. The Portuguese chicken was absolutely amazing, easily the best I've ever had! We also tried the poutine & salad, & everything was simply perfect. We can't wait to return soon!

Me & my friend came from NJ, Andy the owner was extremely friendly & was overall pleasant to be around. The food is some of the best food I ever had that we had to go back multiple times during our weekend stay, highly recommend any of their chicken dishes

Would not recommend & would never order again, also the kids barely had any of the food. I ordered whole chicken, fries, rice , salad & Creamy Shrimp Fritters. The fries were awful, old & soggy. The chicken is ok but nothing special, you should know that their mild sauce is still very spicy, The worst of all was Creamy Shrimp Fritters , mushy & tasteless , the rice was ok & the salad was good,
Great find! We dined in tonight & an overall great experience! All of the food was amazing, down to the seasoning on the fries! The chicken was great, the salad as well! & the pastel de nata, so good! Andy (the owner) super nice guy who took his time to have a conversation with us! We drove to LaSalle from the south shore & happy we did!!! We will definitely Be back! For great Portuguese food with a good ambiance, it is a MUST!
Went to Viana tonight & we have only great things to say! The food was delicious ( chicken, chouriço, salad & fries, pastel de nata, arroz doce) it was all great, highly recommend!!! & the owner Andy, what a nice guy, down to earth, welcoming, took his time to talk with us)! We will definitely be back!!!
Comfort food at its best! Great spot for some authentic charcoal grilled chicken. Well seasoned, tender, & juicy chicken pairs well with their homemade spicy sauce. Fries & Natas are also excellent. Good packaging for takeout as well!
The food was really disappointing. Very salty & the piri piri sauce was awful - was almost tomatoey. I've had a lot of Portuguese chicken in my life & this is definitely on the lower end of the scale. People have raved about this to me & I was hoping for a LaSalle version of Romados or Ma Poule Mouiller...this is definitely not that. Maybe an off night for them but I won't be returning.
Althought I didn't find it as spicy as I wanted to be, the chicken is really tender & you can really taste the freshness. (idk if that makes sense but it's a way of saying it's delicious & i will come back again) Thankfully, the spicy sauce still adds the flavour i like in a chicken. Great for students from the college near by the restaurant to take a quick lunch during their break time. Also I highly HIGHLY recommend their dessert Pastel del Nata. Truly delightful ✨ edit: after checking some reviews, I noticed that I tried this restaurant in the period of the newest adminsitration, so perhaps the experience may vary for new & old customers.
Me & my boyfriend absolutely love coming here - the chicken salad our staple but everything is good. Service is excellent, staff are so friendly & always going above & beyond. Feels like home. 10/10 recommend!
Absolutely a must go to restaurant I saw this place by chance when I went to the restaurant next door & decided to give it a try & I'm so glad I did. I met Andy who was super nice & I was in a hurry so I asked for the quickest thing & he recommended the chicken sandwich & fries. They were amazing & there sauce I could drink it like a shooter. I will definitely be returning to try more food & I recommend this place to everyone
The food isnt the same as it use to. My family & i were loyal clients & would always order & the food was fantastic. Ever since that sad tragedy, the food is not what it was. I used to always order a chorizo poutine & when i asked for it again recently when it reopened i was extremely disappointed. The fries were not as tasteful, & the gravy… well it wasnt even gravy it was straight up liquid sauce. The portions were not the same & the chicken salad did not live up to its previous expectations.
