Me & my girls went there on Tuesday May 4th to celebrate Mother's Day. First time here & we will be returning. The good was delicious, from the Halibut to the pasta with braised beef, & focaccia, arancini. The editor was also excellent with his attentive service & wonderful suggestions. Celebrated a 75th birthday dinner with 19 guests. Derek & his staff did a fantastic job. Food & service was 5 star. I would strongly recommend La Verita especially for special occasions.

It was my first time & they did not disappoint. The service was excellent, servers were very knowledgeable, efficient & friendly. They know their menu by heart! The food was absolutely delicious! From appetizers to main course & desserts, wow! I will definitely be back.

Other than what's on the menu, they have specials for the day. Everything was delicious. The waiters are knowledgeable & gave good suggestion on wine as well.
Jimmy was our server for the evening. Very quick to fill glasses & very friendly! The food was amazing, without a doubt the best lasagne I have ever eaten in my life! Next time I am in Montreal, I will 100% be back!
My wife & I went with a group of 10 people. Everyone was happy. We had the braised short rib (55$) & seafood risotto (40$). I had the rib & it was delicious. Served removed from the bone & on top, with a side of veg. My wife had the risotto & thought it was good, but lacking a little in flavor. Our server was Nicolas. Very charismatic, friendly, attentive & a pleasure.
We had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was truly impeccable - the staff was incredibly kind, professional, & very attentive. It quickly made us feel right at home, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
As for the food, everything was outstanding. The cooking of each dish was perfectly executed. For appetizers, we ordered the octopus, fried calamari, burrata, & beef carpaccio. The octopus was simply delicious, cooked to perfection. The calamari were also among the best we've ever had.
For the main courses, we had the striped bass, lamb chops, clam pasta, & short ribs. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, & the portions were generous.
This restaurant has been open for 17 years, & now I completely understand why. A truly wonderful discovery!
