This is one of the best meals I have ever had. I got the spanakopita & the phill cheese steak & both were absolutely divine! I wish I could give this place 6 or even 7 stars. The owner was very personable & took the time to really talk with us & make sure we enjoyed the experience. He even recommended us great things to do while we were in town. We were a group of 4 & had such an amazing experience at Veganarie! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm & inviting. The service was friendly & attentive, & every dish we tried was packed with flavour & creativity. The Greek-inspired comfort food is next level - we couldn't believe everything was 100% plant-based. Highlights for us were the tzatziki, gyros, poutine, & the decadent brownie. Can't wait to come back & try more of the menu. Highly recommended!View more

A Memorable Vegan Dining Experience in Montreal! 🌱✨ I had the joy of hosting a guest from the Caribbean & wanted to offer him a healthy, local dining experience. RESTO VEGANARIE exceeded every expectation! It was my first time visiting & from the moment we arrived, Arie welcomed us with genuine warmth & care...his presence set a beautiful tone. We asked a lot of questions & Arie was incredibly accommodating, tolerant & patient. He took the time to walk us through the menu & made sure we felt informed, comfortable & well cared for. Later, Jacob came out from the kitchen to personally share insights about the moussaka, which added such a thoughtful & personal touch.
A special highlight? Introducing my guest to poutine for the very first time & it happened to be vegan & absolutely delicious! Rich, flavourful & comforting...you'd never guess it was plant-based! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared & bursting with flavour. My guest truly appreciated the quality & creativity of the meal & the fact that it was entirely vegan made the experience even more memorable! Veganarie Resto totally blew me away! The food was insanely good, super flavorful & satisfying without feeling heavy. I tried the Gyro pita plate & there incredible homemade spanakopita, The vibes were relaxed, the staff were super nice, & everything came out quick & fresh. As a non-vegan I was impressed to finally find a plant based alternative greek food spot. Definitely coming back, one of my new favorite spots!View more

Amazing luck to have found this place en route from Kingston to the airport. An unassuming hole in the wall, tucked in a residential neighbourhood, this is not what you think of when you think vegan food. Although you can find some lighter /healthy options, this is super delicious comfort food that knocks your socks off. Not the granola & sprouts kinda place. Between us, we were one vegan, one vegetarian & one meat-eater; we all left extraordinarily happy, with our bellies perhaps a little too full! &, the meat-eater was still raving 24 hours later!
Owner Arie with son Josh cooking, it felt they were feeding you; like you were thier personal guest.
The sandwiches, (beef & pepperoni sub, falafel pita & soy kofta), were each out-of-world, all so filled the max with flavour & sauce, they met my 'it's not good unless it drips down to your elbow' benchmark. The tzatziki was rich & creamy, & YaYa's backavav with apple'hunny'…. I wish she was there so I could hug her!
