lamb(16) recommend(15) noodle(15) authentic(9) dishes(9) skewers(9) highly recommend(8) halal(8) laghman(7) spicy(7) chicken(7) flavor(6)The food was truly delicious & the service was friendly & attentive, which made the overall experience enjoyable. However, the only downside was the waiting time for one of the dishes. We had to wait approximately 45 minutes for a single plate of mantu (dumplings), which felt quite long & slightly affected the dining experience. With a shorter wait time, the visit would have been even more pleasant.
Excellent cuisine from China's Xinjiang region. Parking is limited, & the restaurant is tucked into a small commercial space, but the food is well worth it.
This was absolutely terrible. When I opened my food, I was honestly shocked - it looked like someone else's leftovers. I even turned around & went back to the restaurant to ask for an explanation. The man (probably the chef) said this was a normal single portion, but the food is just half of the container?its more like a normal portion for a child?I paid $18 for this, & I even tipped $2 for takeout.
best uyghur restaurant in town , had good food good service , i recommend to come & try!

It is an Uyghur restaurant & owners are from China's Xinjiang province, however it is not traditional Chinese food it is Turkestan's food similar to Uzbekistan & Kazakhstan traditional food. If you going to visit this place you need to know it is not fast-running fast food place, it takes time to cook it for you. However atmosphere & restaurant decoration are amazing. I visited this place 3 or 4 times, mostly for laghman - it is their native way to cook noodles with beef & it is very delicious. Their noddles are different from other countries food traditions it is unique culture & it is very tasty. There are just very few places who cook it. I know only two Uyghur restaurants in Montreal. Few years ago it was impossible to find in Montreal even single one. Besides laghman they cook some salads & nice looking soups which I did not test yet. However They cook shshlik or lamb kebab & it is the best in Montreal (IMO). Walls in the restaurant decorated with paintings & beautiful traditional plates. Another special feature is the tea tradition, where tea is served in beautiful, round-bellied copper teapots. I wish them all my best & highly recommend this place for anyone interested to discover different & rare culture.
Delicious food, a cool atmosphere, & great service! Will definitely be going back.
Some of the best food & service I ever had in Montreal. Genuinely incredible & would recommend everyone to come & eat here. Amazing amazing amazing.
Clean, hygienic restaurant serving high-quality halal food. Fresh ingredients, great taste, & friendly service. Highly recommended!
Pros:
Food is great, ingredients feel fresh & the place is clean & neat. A bit pricey but the portion offered negates the high price.
Cons:
Be prepared to wait, if you're with 3 people & each of you order food & something extra to share with be ready to wait 1h+ & the food comes in different times. My friend had to wait 30 mins for their food while we finished ours
It's a small family restaurant with almost all their dishes made from scratch. That's why it could take some time for the food to arrive. I had the homestyle laghman. The homemade noodles have very nice texture, & if you like spicy, they can give you chili oil on the side. Overall, a pleasant experience.
I love the place. It's clean. The foods are delicious. We have come to this restaurant for 2 times. It was so good. The porsion is between medium or large that you can share with people on your table. It seems a bit of cost. But if you share with friends, one medium size of one menu can be for 3 or 4 person.
Great lamb skewers! The fried noodles are really good too. & the big plate chicken 🐔. The noodles in the big plate chicken are very chewy & tender. Also ordered Aryan (sour yogurt flavor). It can be a foreigner taste for people & not like it. I found it was okay. Overall great food!
They offer authentic Uyghur food with bold, comforting flavors. The hand-pulled noodles, lamb dishes, samsa , kebabs are rich, well-seasoned, & served in generous portions. A great spot in Montreal for halal cuisine that feels homemade & authentic.
While you'll find many excellent dishes on the menu, the spicy lamb feet stood out as a uniquely memorable experience.
From the first bite, the lamb feet dish hits you with its deep, spicy seasoning, The lamb feet are tender & fatty in all the right ways, offering that collagen rich texture so beneficial to the skin, The spice level is noticeable but balanced, pairs well with hand-pulled laghman noodles or bread makes it more tasty & delicious, should definitely worth to try.
