Average suchi. We arrived at 7:53 there were only two other customers. The waitress at the door told us that will close at 9. I guess hoping that we will leave. They gave a large menu & the food is fresh but the service is poor.

Sushi was very fresh & satisfying, much better than any sushi chain & much better than all you can eat sushi restaurants.

We ordered the 45 piece plateaux & were pleasantly impressed with the presentation , quality & flavour of their nigiri , futomaki & maki, ginger & wasabi.

Their green tea was also very good.

Will definitely come back :)

Vraiment très bon. Rivalise avantageusement avec tous les grands noms de Montréal. Pour en avoir essayé & comparé pas moins de 5 ou 6 pendant leur fermeture temporaire, Covid oblige, je peux vous dire que la famille s'est grandement ennuyée de Umi Sushi & vivement sa réouveture. Keep up the excellent work; so happy to have you back.

Resto de proximité apprécié à l'Ile des Soeurs. Bons Sushis. Excellent service, attentionné & discret. Ambiance calme & propice aux échanges entre amis ou avec la famille.

I went to this Resturant oct14.2015. The service was amazing she was a very sweet. The food was good & presentation very good.

Un décor quelconque, du sushi fade & sans personnalité, un rapport qualité-prix plutôt mauvais... J'ai mangé du sushi de meilleure qualité pour BEAUCOUP moins cher dans le coin. L'ambiance ne se prête pas aux confidences intimes, car la lumière est trop forte sur les tables. Le tempura était humide, pas très croustillant, bref, pas de la toute première fraîcheur. Une expérience franchement décevante, à ne pas renouveler.

Given some of the reviews that I read I was apprehensive but the food was decent enough 6.5/10. The fish certainly tasted fresh. The waitress was super friendly & admitted that service was slow since she was the only one working the floor. The wine selection "by the glass" was very poor -- only two choices of red.
I'd only go back if in the area.

Actually, their service was quite good, but I am disappointed by the fact that they misleaded people with their large lunch special poster.
It was written the same on their small menu, but what I ordered was not what I got at the end. I had to ask the waitress about how come my meal was not as it was written on both the menu & the poster.
