I would describe typhoon lounge as the real deal. The food is amazing & it's not only your average pub menu!! The outdoor terrace is lovely in good weather & the inside has plenty of seating. The very best part about typhoon is the service. Our server was named Charlotte & she was the highlight of our night! Charlotte was so kind, accommodating & professional that I will struggle to not compare other service elsewhere to her! Definitely check out this bar for a good time & friendly atmosphere.View more

Charming, unique, & a feat of Montreal culture, but what really sells it. Drumroll please… the service. Folks, you won't get better service than Charlotte! Well, Got kicked off The patio at typhoon today because I had my small dog. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt of them thinking it's the law, but it only takes 10 second Google to find out, it's the restaurants decision. I've gone to Typhoon a few times, most recently in February on a Friday evening with friends, & the vibes were good: the music & lighting were perfect for an intimate round of pints & conversation. Prices were fair, & the draft selection was adequate. The service was quick & friendly, & overall we enjoyed ourselves.
The food was a little disappointing. While the prices & portions were fine, the quality was underwhelming.
I like Typhoon for a satisfying pint & fun times with friends, & it's a solid neighbourhood bar overall.View more
