Tsak Tsak offre une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale avec une cuisine raffinée et des portions bien équilibrées, un service sympathique et une atmosphère qui donne envie de rester. Le menu est varié et met souvent en valeur des plats malgaches, des sauces maison et des options brunch et petit déjeuner remarquables, le tout avec un bon rapport qualité prix. De nombreux avis soulignent une nourriture délicieuse, un personnel attentif et un sentiment d'être comme à la maison, bien qu'une visite signale des questions de fraîcheur sur certains plats. Dans l'ensemble, l'impression est celle d'une adresse prisée et souvent recommandée pour revenir.
Honnêtement un de mes nouveaux spots préférés. La nourriture est tout simplement délicieuse & tu sens vraiment le côté fait maison dans chaque assiette, surtout parce que tout est faite maison. Tout était frais, généreux & plein de saveurs. Mention spéciale aux patates, au pain grillé (maison) & aux assiettes déjeuner qui étaient incroyables.
On ressent aussi que c'est une vraie entreprise familiale avec une ambiance chaleureuse & un service attentionné. La terrasse est super belle & ajoute vraiment au vibe du resto. Je crois que honnêtement c'est le meilleur service que j'ai pu recevoir.
Un endroit authentique comme on en trouve de moins en moins. Clairement une adresse où je reviens souvent.
Honestly, one of my new favorite spots. The food is simply delicious & you can truly taste the homemade touch in every plate, especially since everything is made in-house. Everything was fresh, generous, & full of flavor. Special mention to the potatoes, the homemade toasted bread, & the breakfast plates, which were absolutely incredible.
You can also really feel that it's a genuine family-owned business, with a warm atmosphere & attentive service. The terrace is beautiful & really adds to the restaurant's vibe. Honestly, I think it's the best service I've ever received.
An authentic place like this is becoming rare. Definitely a spot I come back to often!
We were directed to Tsak Tsak from a local bartender who was adamant that this was the place to go. He said it was run by lovely people from Madagascar & that their food was very well done especially breakfast. His recommendation did not disappoint. The folks there were absolutely charming & the food was equally as memorable. Some of the best poached egg dishes I've had. Their house made hot sauce was bright & full do heat. Don't sleep on the soursop juice, it's delicious. It was so good it was the only repeat restaurant on our trip to Montreal.

my girlfriend & i came here yesterday for a late brunch after fabergé was closed & it was so wonderful! all of the food was made in house -- down to the mayo -- & it was truly delicious. we both got the breakfast place (glouton) -- comes with everything you'd want on a breakfast plate plus a salad. good coffee as well, & gluten free options :) we definitely underestimated this place when we first saw it online but we will be back!
A very warm, friendly place with a great selection of breakfast / brunch options. Servings are generous, & prices are fair. Ingredients are always fresh, presentation is good, & the service is fast, friendly, & attentive. Breads, including the English muffins which are the base for their Eggs Benedict, are baked fresh in-house. The restaurant is run by a super friendly & hard-working family. I always stop by here when I'm in town.

The breakfast poutine with salmon is amazing. The staff are very friendly & accommodating. This is a great laid back spot for a quiet, delicious brunch.
My family & I had a Wonderful Mother's Day Breakfast. We had the Salmon chic, the Poutine & Rib's breakfast . The food is fresh, quality ingredients & flavoured & lot's of choice. Great Cappuccino & Service. We'll be back again!

Just north of the corner at Laurier & St. Laurent Blvd, Tsak Tsak (formerly L'Inconnu) is a quaint casual breakfast/brunch bistro with a larger menu that should satisfy most, if not all, tastes. The restaurants atmosphere has potential but could definitely use some work. From the street view window the décor is casual bohemian but when you enter the kitchen & relevant equipment is exposed, along with some storage shelving...it could be easily covered up to help convey a more lux experience. That said, our meal was quite good. We ordered a hot chocolate (very good...using real chocolate & not from powder), the Bagel Salmon (very good...but could have had the bagel toasted & added red onions to the plate...if you order this, make sure to ask the server as it will help a lot) & Pear French Toast (excellent...using brioche bread & a sautéed pear with cheese curds & nuts...somewhat like a french toast poutine...something unique & very tasty). Service was good & the food arrived relatively quickly but they were clearly short staffed & a patron rush would have put pressure on them. Overall I would have given them 4.5 stars. Enjoy!
