Tripolis is described as a cozy Greek restaurant with authentic flavors, generous portions and a warm family vibe, with standout dishes like grilled octopus, calamari and the half Greek chicken with potatoes and salad; the service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is inviting, though at busy times the place can feel crowded and seating near the kitchen can feel like an afterthought, some dishes are overcooked or pricey, and tzatziki is not always included.

Since I discovered Tripolis last month, I've been 4 times. Food & service are excellent. Yael served me last time & she's super nice & efficient. Food is great. Best greek in Montréal area. Going again tonight.

THE BEST! Traditional, large portions of the great customer service, tasty traditional Greek food. It's been around many years they must be doing something GOOD 😉
Great service. Food was generally good, but I wasn't a fan of their roasted potatoes, maybe due to lack of seasoning. The salad offered with the meal was big, but the dressing was basic, probably healthier, but not the tastiest. I liked their dessert called galaktoboureko. One of the few or the only restaurant open until 10pm weekdays in that side of Laval, in 2024.
Was a bit disappointed on my birthday Had the porc chops that were overcooked & dry . Very hard to cut.Unfortunately, I never send food back; too scared! Lol The fries & rice were delicious though. Ate 1/2 of one of the two chops & brought the rest home.Its still in the fridge. The waiter was average.Never brought us our final bill but only stopped us as we were going out the door about the bill.My son had to explain that he had gone up to the cash & settled the bill. I guess we just got the chef on a bad day. Better luck next time because this is a restaurant that I like a lot
Generous portions. Calamari was alright & the marinara sauce was tastier than most but also very gelatinous instead of saucy. Lamb chops weren't bad. Rice was flavourful. House salad was just fine, although I wish the app would tell you what the difference was between that & a green salad for example. Galaktobouriko was typical.

We have been visiting this restaurant for years, certainly a destination for us, not only for Greek food but for any restaurant outing in general. The food is outstanding, service is exceptional, & prices & value are second to none. Thank you for keeping up your high standards, especially in these times.
Without a doubt, Tripolis has the best grilled octopus & lamb chops in all of Quebec. It's been consistently good over the years & the people are super kind. Please, never change!
Tripolis is a staple of Greek Cuisine. The staff is amazing, the food is to die for & the atmosphere is perfect for a family dinner or first date. Trying it is adopting it. Cheers
I highly recommend this amazing restaurant. It is THE BEST great restaurant in Laval hands down. The service was once again exceptional with our favorite server Mary Ellen. Thank you so much for the amazing food & the funny moments we all shared together!
