A decent restaurant in a strip plaza. I have not been to a Greek restaurant in Montreal for quite a few years & I always compared them favourably to the Toronto ones. It seems now, both Toronto-style food (rice &/or oven potatoes) & prices have moved to Montreal. Anyway, the food (calamari, pork souvlaki, lamb chops) was really good (& quite a lot). They were served with a large plate of the so-called greek salad (not the village variety) with a few trimmings of feta cheese for a small extra charge. There was no any portion of tzatziki served with the souvlaki, as it it customary in Toronto. The fries were the only negative point. They were cut in round slices, so thin that they were kind of burned & hard. All in all, a good meal but nothing special to warrant a return visit.
Such a great experience! The food & service were amazing. We tried the fried zucchini, lamb chops, calamari, & octopus, & everything was sooo delicious. The portions were also very generous, perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, & we had such a nice time. Definitely recommend checking this place out!
Been a customer for years including the original place in Montreal. First off, the outside door slams behind you & startles you, been like that for years!

FIRST TIME & DEFINITELY WONT BE MY LAST!!! Great food , fast service everything is amazing from the ambiance to the employees & of course the food. My brother & I decided to bring my dad here for his birthday !!! We were all so amazed by everything. We ordered a seafood salad , fried calamari a Greek salad we had a pikilia meat dish with pork chops , loukaniko , lamb & chicken & home potatoes, everything was so fresh & savoury!! What a wonderful experience thank you Sotiri for your welcoming hospitality & great service this is my go to place for authentic Greek food from now on will definitely come back here!! Was their last Saturday we took the first seatingour order started with calamari excellent,spanakopita great,to small ,felt we were rushed,got up went to the cash asked the waiter to slow down the order ,told me it's out already & I had ordered the land chops full of nerve ,my wife the chicken breast very dry ,not a place to have a quiet evening
Was a bit disappointed on my birthday Had the porc chops that were overcooked & dry . Very hard to cut.Unfortunately, I never send food back; too scared! Lol The fries & rice were delicious though. Ate 1/2 of one of the two chops & brought the rest home.Its still in the fridge. The waiter was average.Never brought us our final bill but only stopped us as we were going out the door about the bill.My son had to explain that he had gone up to the cash & settled the bill. I guess we just got the chef on a bad day. Better luck next time because this is a restaurant that I like a lot
Generous portions. Calamari was alright & the marinara sauce was tastier than most but also very gelatinous instead of saucy. Lamb chops weren't bad. Rice was flavourful. House salad was just fine, although I wish the app would tell you what the difference was between that & a green salad for example. Galaktobouriko was typical.
Without a doubt, Tripolis has the best grilled octopus & lamb chops in all of Quebec. It's been consistently good over the years & the people are super kind. Please, never change!

Not to be outdone, the Fried Calamaris raised the bar for seafood, tasting as if they were caught & cooked in the same breath, delivering a freshness that's hard to find. Despite the indulgence in appetizers, we found room for the main courses, among which the Quebec baby lamb chops were a marvel of culinary artistry. Each chop was a masterpiece, cooked flawlessly to exude flavors that were both rich & delicate. The Greek chicken accompanied by unbelievably delicious potatoes rounded out the meal, leaving an indelible mark on our palates.
