Tripolis specializes in traditional Greek and Mediterranean culinary techniques centered on fresh seafood and expertly grilled meats. The kitchen prepares classic staples such as calamari, whole grilled fish, and souvlaki utilizing authentic herbs and high-quality olive oil. Diners encounter a menu that emphasizes the natural flavors of the Aegean coast through balanced seasoning and proper cooking temperatures. The environment prioritizes functional simplicity, allowing the focus to remain entirely on the composition of the plates. Fresh ingredients define the preparation of every dish, from cold meze starters to substantial main courses featuring ocean-sourced catches. The consistency of these authentic preparations ensures that the core pillars of Mediterranean cooking are represented accurately in every served portion.
Tripolis provides a cozy and family oriented atmosphere that many patrons find welcoming and authentic for enjoying traditional Greek cuisine. While many diners praise the consistently high quality of dishes like the fried zucchini, grilled octopus, and Greek chicken, opinions remain divided regarding the value of the menu. Some visitors appreciate the attentive service and generous portions, highlighting the establishment as a favorite local destination, whereas other guests express concerns about rising prices, occasional inconsistencies in food preparation, and a crowded dining environment. Overall, the experience is often characterized by a home made quality that keeps long time customers returning, despite varied feedback on specific menu items and general comfort.
I live close to this place & never ever set foot in until a friend recommended it & I have to say, I wish I tried this place earlier. It's a cute & cozy little restaurant with a great atmosphere. Descent price & the food was beyond excellent. The waiter that served us was phenomenal & very professional. I knocked over water all over the table by accident & they fixed the whole thing in 30 seconds. Loved my experience at this place. Must try if you love authentic greek food.
So it all started with a craving for calamaris & we found this spot on the internet & we went for it. First time did not deceive, & will certainly not be our last time. It's a cute Greek vybe, typical traditional menu, portion were big, service was really friendly & most importantly the food was amazing. A must try, i highly recommend. Thank you for the Tripolis team for a nice dinner.
Been here many times in the past but it was my first time back after a few years, & it's still absolutely delicious. Portions are very generous, everything is so flavourful & well presented. Additionally the menu is very well priced, both food & alcohol will not break the bank. The cold pikilia plate gave an amazing assortment of all their cold appetizers, enough for 3-4 people. The chicken is so juicy, & the accompanying salad was bigger than expected for a side. Service is super friendly & fast, even in a crowded bustling dining room. Highly recommend Tripolis.

The food was amazing, & everything we ordered was delicious, I never had such delicious calamari they melted in your mouth you didn't even need to eat it with a sauce that speaks volumes, the chicken stick was cooked to perfection it was crispy on the outside & super tender on the inside. The fried vegetables & tzatziki were perfect there wasn't too much batter on it & the seasoning was just right. The portions are very generous. We had plenty to take home. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
This restaurant is a typical Greek style diners, no decor whatsoever, but the food is fresh & good.
We were 4 people on a busy Saturday night, place was packed with mostly Greek diners, which is a sign the food is authentic & good.
It’s a family style dining experience, where you order several dishes for everyone to share.
Appetizers: Octopus was good, Calamars also good, fried Zucchini were okay but too much batter & oily, the Tzatziki sauce was really thick & light , not too much garlic, simply delicious. The Greek salad was also very fresh & good.
We ordered a kilo of lamb for our main course; it was really good & more than enough for four people...with all the entrees & bread/tzatziki, this was plenty of food.
dessert: Loukomades ,which are fried pastry dough balls drizzled with Honey , warm & delicious.
Wine list was okay, prices were extremely reasonable, some starting at $30-$40
Price wise, it is very reasonable, approx $150 per couple with tax & tip.
I would recommend it for a casual night out with friends that have good appetites.
Went with the girlfriend & her parents for a nice night out. If you want souvlaki on pita, look elsewhere. But if you want authentic Greek food, then this is the place!
We had the octopus, taramosalata, tzatiki as starters & they were fantastic; the tzatiki was thick & tasty - not runny like you get at other places. Octopus with capers coulda been a meal unto itself.
Dinner was lamb (by the kilo) with sides of potatoes, rice & greek salad. I highly recommend trying the oven roasted potatoes with lemon...I prolly put on 5 lbs with those alone.
Dessert was the little dough balls (dunno what they're called) with honey & yoghurt...OMG, I stuffed myself.
