Very attractive décor, casual ambience, nice background music, very good food, generous portions, reasonably priced. Very good choice for Italian food. Would definitely go back.
Went here on a Groupon deal. Service was...interesting. I think our server had some "nose candy" action going on because he was a little too excited for 7 p.m. on a Wednesday night. Service, it weasn't great. There were maybe 5 tables used, including my wife & I, & we waited a long time to have our plates removed when we were done, & I had to get up & go the server station in order to pay our bill. Also, for 2 glasses of prosceco & 2 glasses of wine, paying $80 seemed extreme. I was "informed" that any tip I left "should" be on the total Groupon value & not the extras. I didn't feel like making a scene, but having this sloppy coke-head literally tell me to give him more money put a low touch on the evening for me. 2/5 on service & dining experience.
Portions were huge, & we both brought leftovers home. Quality was middle of the road. Nothing exciting, but tasty. My raviolis were store-bought, which disappointed. My wife enjoyed her mushroom risotto but wasn't super excited about it. 3/5 food.
3 stars for mediocre food, sloppy service, & the television. If I wanted store-bought ravioli & "Guy's Grocery Games", I could have stayed home.
