Stumbled upon the cage while looking for late brunch in Montreal. The service was fun & warm. We ended up joking with multiple servers who were also very serious about hospitality. The Athena avocado toast was fantastic, & the atmosphere was lovely & cozy. Felt like being back in a little French bistro in Paris.
We ate here with our kids, ages 10. 7, & 4. Great atmosphere, cozy feel, super friendly & accommodating staff, delicious food. We all shared & loved: grilled cheese, tomato soup, smoked salmon bagel, eggs on toast with hollandaise & avocado, potatoes, side salads, smoothie of the day, & mimosas. It was all super yummy & we devoured everything so fast. We had to order a second batch of potatoes because our kids loved them so much. Thanks!

The menu creatively utilizes ciabatta bread in a variety of dishes, adding a unique touch. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast croissant, which featured an authentic French taste & was further enhanced by the addition of a perfectly cooked egg. We also tried the lox & stellina, & appreciated the inclusion of salmon rolls alongside the lox. Overall, Tommy's Cafe is a highly recommended breakfast destination in Montreal.
Cozy coffee with tasty food, good coffee & quick service. The ingredients are fresh & flavorful. The presentation of the dishes is very different to the other Tommy Cafés & that is cool. Also the available coffee & drinks are good. Service is good but nothing extraordinary.
