Tiamo is a great choice if you're craving well-prepared Italian cuisine, especially wood-fired pizzas & classic pastas, in a warm, chic atmosphere. Perfect for date nights, family dinners, or weekend brunch. For larger groups, consider booking in advance & be aware of plate size expectations.

🔧 Tips Before You Go
• Book in advance, especially for dinner; brunch is walk-in only.
• Go for the pizzas, which are freshly fried daily.
• Some dishes may be standard sized for the price - sharing is smart.

Its a really good Italian restaurant. The portions were really good & the food was great. The quality was amazing. The atmosphere was great as well. Definitely a good experience. The only thing is that there were some homeless people at the door of the restaurant, the serving wasn't that fast.View more
View more
Vraiment aimé l'ambiance ainsi que la qualité de service. Très attentionné. La serveuse était très aidante par rapport aux choix du vin & dessert.View more
We just went there with my family to celebrate my wife's birthday. It is a hidden gem. I was not expecting the service & food to be this good. Our waitress was amazing & she was always around but like bothering too much amount. She gave suggestions. We ordered octopus, al ragu, Alfredo & for the kids cheese pizza (custom made since it is not on the menu). Everyone liked their food. Waitress suggested a mocktail for my wife for her birthday & she really liked it. The octopus was the best I have ever had & I am from Turkey so I know what I am talking about. Pasta was cooked perfectly. They also surprised us with a birthday dessert & sang happy birthday to us. We really felt special at this place. I don't know why some people say the portions are too small. I think it was perfect. The place is not actually for kids but they accommodated them perfectly not like some of fine dining restaurants where you feel that as a family that you are not welcome. The atmosphere was good. It was not cold or hot. The music was not too noisy so we cannot hear ourselves. Basically, I can recommend this place for dates or even for small family celebrations. The price is OK, I would not say it is cheap but compared to some other restaurants around they were reasonably priced.View more

The pasta was terrible & not enough sauce. The cocktails were overpriced! Decent decor & service thoughView more
I had a wonderful experience at Tiamo Restaurant in Montreal. From the moment we arrived, the owner & the staff made us feel truly welcome - their hospitality stood out & added to the overall charm of the evening. The service was attentive, friendly, & genuine.
We tried several dishes, & everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, & the presentation was elegant & thoughtful. It's clear that the team at Tiamo takes pride in both the quality of their food & the experience they provide to guests.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food paired with warm, memorable service. Looking forward to visiting again!View more
The atmosphere here is undeniable. It is a hidden gem in this area. The food overall was great. The beet carpaccio was a pleasant surprise. My flank steak was a little too salty for my liking, & I was left to eat it with a butter knife. The server didn't come back during the meal to ask if we needed anything & we couldn't get their attention since the place was a little busy. Overall a great experience that can only improve with a little more attention to the patrons.View more

We ordered the tuna tartare, prosciutto pizza, & lamb chops. We also got two alcoholic drinks each.
The tuna tartare was okay. There wasn't a lot of tuna in it though, but I think that if you are new to eating raw fish, you would enjoy this as the creaminess of the sauce & fresh vegetables in it are the dominant flavors.
The prosciutto pizza was also okay. There was a good amount of prosciutto on it, but it is mainly a plain cheese pizza with prosciutto on it. I would not recommend getting this unless you like plain pizza. I would also recommend splitting this with at least one other person as the pizza is quite large.
The lamb chops were very good! They were cooked to the specification requested (medium-well), & the vegetables accompanying it (asparagus, potatoes) were cooked very well.
The service is good. We requested to be reseated to the upper level, which was promptly fulfilled. If you sit by the open kitchen, note that it is VERY hot. The rest of the restaurant is at a good temperature.
The drinks were not very good. In my opinion, they tasted very similar to hand sanitizer (like rubbing alcohol with a hint of fruit).
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. The lamb chops were a highlight!View more
We wanted to try a new Italian restaurant & the pictures online looked great . The age group was very very young . ( teens going out on dates , & groups ). Service was great . Our waitress was sweet & attentive . Everything was correct & fast . The food was a real disappointment . I ordered the grilled octopus for appetizer . It was over cooked & rubbery . Lacked flavor & it came sitting on way too much potato salad , that had no effort or imagination put into it . My main course was cavatelli al ragu. Very simple. Bland . Nothing special for the price . My friends ordered each a pizza . Other than the dough being under done , it was ok . They would have sent it back so they can put it back in the oven for a few more minutes . But time was not on our side that day . But excellent service . Too bad the food needs personality & refinement.View more
