THE STANDARD Café is described as a cozy, plant-filled spot with good coffee and solid pastries that many find pleasant for a quick visit or to work, though experiences are inconsistent. Some praise the Americano and decently flavored lattes and a minimalist vibe, while complaints mention variable milk quality including oat or soy options, occasional taste issues, and inattentive or unfriendly service that can spoil the experience. Prices are sometimes seen as high for the value and wifi can be very unreliable, but the café remains a convenient Westmount option with an inviting setting and the chance to buy coffee beans or bags for home.
Small cozy coffee place with good coffee beans, although the experience of visiting, & the coffee itself, can be ruined by the barista, which has happened several times. It's a matter of luck;)

This is a cute coffe spot. They have really good pastries as well. You can also purchase bags of coffee for home or as a gift. The Barista is always friendly & welcoming.
Paid $7.15 for a small soy latte … since when are they using Kirkland brand soy milk? For that price y'all should be using better quality milk like you used to. I am very disappointed.
Passez votre chemin.

Decent coffee. Obnoxious customer service.
I ordered my coffee with sugar.'This isn't Starbucks' the barista / owner tells me.'We serve good coffee here'. Seriously?
I just returned from Bali, Indonesia where I visited a coffee plantation that makes Lombok coffee, some of the finest coffee in the world. There, sugar is served alongside the coffees they presented for sampling. Ditto for the coffee plantations I visited in Costa Rica, Uganda, & Brazil. In Turkey, coffee has been served for over 500 years, with the standard question being: sweet, semi-sweet or black?
Mr Owner, may I suggest you go work at Starbucks, where you will learn that many people consume their coffee in many different ways.
Avoid this place. Unless you take your coffee black, of course.
It's a nice cafe at Westmount, a bit pricey but it's normal I guess considering the neighborhood. It's always nice to come here to take a coffee & relax. Love the plants inside, contrasting with the modern black interior decor & furniture. The coffee is not bad, the latte art could be better though. Not a big variety of viennoiseries is also a point to improve
