Very nice darker ambiance. It's a very popular place so of course there's more of a wait. But it's the best tapioca I have ever had in my life. Probably the reason why I come here everytime I'm back for a visit in Montreal. Quantity of tapioca was also great I could barely finish all of them. The people were nice, quick, & efficient. I just wish there were more places to sit down & enjoy it.View more

I came here today for the first time not sure what to order. The cashier helped me out & her recommendation was DELICIOUSSSS. I got a tirimisu boba slushy type drink. Also, the cashier was so nice, super smiley, just interacting with her made my day better. At first I thought the prices were too high for the quantity. HOWEVER, I stand corrected, it is absolutely worth it for the quality. I've paid the same price for bigger drinks but nothing compares to the quality of this place. This drink had layers, it was an experience, it was exactly what I was looking for. I live in the west Island & I only went to this place because I study at JMSB. I find it really hard to find good tapioca but I finally have!! Last thing, the place is so cute & clean, such a vibe to grab a drink with friends.View more

J'ai pris un deerioca fever super bon, les boissons sont bonnes même si un peu chères parfois, mais j'ai eu droit à une paille en plastique qui devient toute molle & se plie instantanément quand j'aspire. La boisson n'était pas non plus bouillante, c'était donc impossible d'aspirer les perles & même la boisson au bout d'un moment. Si la paille était en papier, j'aurais compris, mais ce n'était pas le cas 😭 Aussi, presque jamais de service en français. Delicious Boba tea! Their pearls are real with caramel taste, not like other places using only starch. Only down side is the store is a little dusty & spider web on their frames.View more

The tea was really good, but the service was not... They didn't give the right order to my friend. Also it took more than 15 minutes to receive our orders & the place was almost empty. The casier had trouble understanding French or English.. that's sad because the bubble teas were so good!!View more

No matter where you are in the world, The Alley consistently delivers on high quality boba especially in a place that doesn't typically have artisan boba available. I'm a self-proclaimed boba connoisseur so I fully expected to enjoy this drink, & I did. They offer a variety of high quality milk & fruit tea beverages, & even offer non-dairy milk which made it the ideal situation for myself. I went with a Jasmine Soy Milk Tea Latte with Boba & it was refreshingly perfect. Boba was soft & satisfying, the milk tea had the perfect level of sweetness to it, & I was happy. Service was friendly & quick, & the decor inside had The Alley's trademark antlers welcoming guests to the shop. Definitely recommend as a spot for boba if you're downtown.View more

I went during their collaboration with Spy X Family & the interior design was so cute. The place is already cosy & friendly to begin with so the addition of the cute merchandise only made it better in my opinion. The drinks were pretty good, better than a lot of other places I have been to. The tapioca were a bit chewier than what I would have liked but they were still pretty good. The service was smiling & they were all very friendly & patient, it was a great experience. One thing that I feel like it is not as good as other places is probably the size. Compared to some other chains, the size of the drinks are a bit small for the price.View more
