Honestly I really loved this place. The food is pretty good & decently priced, as are the drinks. My waiter was very pleasant. He spoke French & English which was very convenient, as me & my girlfriends french is at a very low level for now. What I didn't like was that another server who was pleasant earlier in the the night confronted us about not tipping. She was so loud that several other tables heard the commotion. It was just a misunderstanding as my girlfriend cannot read french. She just could not understand how to finalize the transaction. The waitress then confronted me, & I explained to her that I liked my experience. She asked why we did not tip. I was just flustered & had no idea what was going on. But we were not able to explain what had occured, because she was being very rude & speaking with a condescending tone. So we got up & left. She then starred at as with her arms crossed on our way out. I just think this could have all been resolved with patience & proper communication, which she is clearly not equipped for. In conclusion I hope our waitress finds an occupation suited for her. I would still recommend that you give this place a try.

beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food. the food is served in huge portions & are so perfectly tasty for the price. i thoroughly enjoy their curries.

they have an area with tables & sunken spots for your legs (so you're sitting on the ground), & sitting there makes the experience feel very authentic & pleasant. will be coming back!

I'm changing my review, in the last year price became ridiculous but more importantly the quality went down. I hope they wake up because it's not the 5 star restaurant I used to know for the last 15 years.

Amazing experience! Very traditional & authentic. The food is very tasty, beautifully presented & the portions are generous for their price. Highly recommend.

Very authentic tasty food. My boyfriend took a table d'hote which let us taste a few different appetizers. The coconut lemon grass soup was very good but slightly too spicy. I had a curry bowl with coconut milk, potatoes, pineapple & duck. It was so good! Completely different from Indian curry which I hate. The sticky rice was excellent to dip in the sauces. I found the portions very small for the price but in the end we were all full. The decor is also very nice. unfortunately you don't actually sit on the floor like the traditional way. Its more like sitting on an elevated platform with the table below.

We were over 15 people, we were there celebrating a birthday. we booked the area where you sit on the floor.
The restaurant was packed. Despite the fact that they were very busy, the service was not at all lacking. I was overall extremely impressed with the quality of service, & the food was delicious! Seafood tastes really good. It is reasonably priced. Definitely I will going there more often.
