Restaurant Thailande located on the popular Bernard Street in Montreal is a terrific place to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine; this establishment has been open for over 17 years and attracts any type of crowd who appreciate amazing food and tasteful typical Thai décor. This is an excellent place for enjoying all of your favorite Thai dishes -- Sample menu: vegetables, pork, beef, lamb, chicken, shrimps, Tom Yum soup with shrimp, Thai spring rolls, Kaeng Phed (red curry, with coconut milk and basil) and crispy duck to name only a few. This restaurant is not only known for its tasteful food and great service, but for the traditional seating they dispose (patrons have the choice to eat on tatami mats and lowered tables). For those wanting to really experience an unforgettable Thai evening, then they must try the traditional seating. I have been coming for years & it's always excellent. Spicy mango salad & curries with sticky rice main dishes are never a disappointment.

Personal Opinion - They need to add some more details on the menu. It says Vegetarian Fried Rice & Vegetarian Dumplings but both dishes contains Eggs. If they can indicate that it contains eggs that would be really appreciated as most vegetarians do not consume eggs as well. I am not speaking on behalf of all vegetarian.

Family owned for 35 years - generational Kaeng Masman - explosion of balanced seweet lemony flavours Pad phed - explosion of balanced spicy flavours These two dishes stood out by far! Cannot compare it to anything, just too good to compare! My go to place for Thai in MTL Thank you for the chef & family! Keep up the beautiful work

Incredible experience. Don't waste your time with appetizers or the Pad Thai though, the pad thai is good but it's not the strongest thing on the menu. Definitely just go for the mains & order to share so you can taste a variety of delicious, complex & balanced dishes which really showcase the talents of the chefs. I also recommend going at a time when the restaurant is not too busy in order to get the best service & least wait times

I heard so much about the place that i needed to try (take away). They have speciaty dishes you don't find elsewhere. Their curries are really flavorfull. However, at the end we were still disappointed: the different meats were dry & overcooked (chicken, beef & shrimp). It's like a cook mixed perfect sauces with meat they just boiled (like in food court fastfood)
