The food has the'Homemade' taste which reminded us India. Serving size is decent as well. The owner & staff are very kind & polite. You hardly find any Indian taste in Montreal. Try this place 1st in your list. Highly recommended.
For the first time, I've ever had an authentic Gujarati dish in Canada. It was undhiyu with puri & aamras. The taste was really good & authentic-just perfect!
We tried their combos, dabeli-vadapav which took me back to Ahmedabad. Highly recommended. Must try their shrikhand & aamras.
Must try place. Authentic Indian taste. Delicious food & wide range of options.
Gujarati e to javu j joiye bhai!
Absolutely phenomenal experience! The food was bursting with authentic flavors - every bite felt like a trip to India. We ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, & vegetable biryani, & everything was perfectly cooked & beautifully presented. The spices were balanced, & the portions were generous.
The service was warm & attentive without being intrusive. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome & even gave some great recommendations. Service was truly exceptional - every detail was taken care of with a smile, & it made the entire dining experience feel extra special.
The ambiance was cozy & inviting, with soft music in the background that added to the atmosphere without overpowering conversation.
Whether you're new to Indian cuisine or a longtime fan, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back - & bringing friends next time!
Sirra restaurant, cool ambiance, authentique vegetarian gujarati food. Pritesh bhai Thanks for great hospitality .
Had an amazing experience at TGG Indian Restaurant recently! We tried the Dahi Puri, Pani Puri, Chole Puri, & Dabeli - & honestly, everything was super fresh & delicious.
But I have to give a special shoutout to the Dabeli - I've been in Canada for 7 years & this was hands down the best Dabeli I've ever had here. It was perfectly spiced, full of flavor, & just hit all the right notes.
On top of that, the staff & the cook were incredibly warm & welcoming. You can really feel that they care about what they're serving & about making sure everyone has a great time.
Big thanks to the whole team for such a lovely experience. We'll definitely be back soon - & bringing friends along too!
Food was the best felt as if it was home made. It was fresh & made with care. Even the customer service was very friendly.
I visited this food joint last week. I had Amdavadi Vadapav, Shrikhand, Roti, Gujarati dar/bhat. Food was delicious & authentic. One of the best vadapav
Tried TGG Restaurant in Montreal recently, & it genuinely reminded me of home. The Baigan Bharta had that deep, smoky flavor you only get with proper roasting - felt just like a well-made dish from a dhaba. Paneer Lababdaar was rich, creamy, & full of flavor without being heavy.
The Ahmedabad Cheese Vada Pav really stood out - it had the same street-style taste you'd expect from Manek Chowk in Ahmedabad. Crispy vada, spicy chutney, & the cheese added a fun twist without being over the top.
With the heat that day, the Masala Chaas hit the spot - cool, spiced just right, & refreshing. Dal Tadka with Rice was simple but satisfying - no shortcuts, just that familiar, bold tadka flavor.
Ended with Kesar Pista Shrikhand, & honestly, it was one of the best I've had outside India - creamy, not overly sweet, & full of flavor.
Overall, the food tasted real - not toned down, not overly fancy. Just proper Indian food, the way it's meant to be. Would go back, especially if I'm craving those strong, familiar flavors.
