The poutine was exactly what I hoped for. Fries stayed crisp, gravy had strong flavor, & the cheese curds softened nicely without disappearing. Rich meal done properly & very satisfying from first bite to last.
The smoked-meat poutine had rich flavors. The fries & curds were good & the smoked meat added a deep savory taste to the dish. The dish was exactly what you'd expect from a smoked meat poutine & i highly recommend it.

The smoked-meat poutine was bold & satisfying. Fries stayed firm, the cheese was squickey & the smoked meat added a rich depth. This version is heavier than the classic poutine, but packs even more flavors.
I had the worst smoked meat poutine I have ever had. The smoked meat was tasteless & stringy. The fries were mediocre & the gravy was terrible. My wife had the smoked meat platter & it was equally awful. When asked if i enjoyed the meal I voiced my complaints. The waitress said she would see what she could do & then returned with the bill in full & said nothing more.
I would not only never go here again but i would actively tell others not to as well.
This is a cute pub-style restaurant with a lovely patio in the middle of old Montreal. The view from the patio is wonderful. The service is good, though it could be more attentive. The Montreal smoked meat poutine did not have enough fries, it looked like soup; but the meat was delicious. The shrimp tacos had barely Amy shrimp, were dry, mostly just red cabbage. The terrace trio was good for sharing. The double chocolate cake was moist & delicious.
Polite staff, was serviced by Alexandra. Food was amazing we got the Bison Burgers with Poutine. Also Shrimp Tacos, which was new to their menu & very nice as a starter!
Atmosphere was nice, we went around 8pm.
Great location. Definitely a tourist place but that's ok. . Service was good. You can upgrade your side to a poutine which is awesome. I had the chicken poutine for my side & it was delicious. The chicken sandwich was good - not bad at all but not as tasty as I would have expected as it lacked flavor. But all in all, still good.

Dear owners, Sorry for a long & sad review. Request you to have better training for your server from Aug 2nd evening for 3 adults at left wing patio time 9.45pm server lady(name unknown, since she never bothered telling). We waited forever for drinks, food & finally bill. I did not feel like bothering to ask about fresh fries (they were cold by the time they got to table & it's not winters). Despite of above adjustment we made as a customer she stared at me paying & when I decided to skip tip she harassed me to pay tip & told it is law in Montreal. Though I paid to avoid being further harassed she spoke about us before we left to her colleagues. I would appreciate copy of law she mentioned to ensure I can be a better customer. We ordered a coke, Heineken, Coors light, fish & chips, pizza veg & chicken poutine (details for you to find right person as she grabbed the bill back from me). FYI we have visited your restaurant before & tipped happily since the service was great.
