We love coming here-often with my dear friend Victoria, who I've known forever-& tonight was especially special celebrating her birthday with my husband Brian. Chef Steve surprised us with a special amuse-bouche that was absolutely incredible. The service was excellent-Kaylee took great care of us throughout the evening. Thank you for such a memorable night. As always, the food was consistently perfect.☺?
Stopped in for a quick after work drink & an appetizer, & it was the perfect way to end the day! One of the best dirty martinis I've had, & those brussel sprouts were incredible 🍸

Another phenomenal evening at Taverne sur le Square-life is good! Each course was beautifully presented & absolutely delicious & full of vibrant flavours. Thank you to the entire team for your welcoming hospitality & service & sharing your culinary talents. We can't wait to return!
Was in Montreal for my anniversary & a friend recommended Taverne Sur Le Square & it did not disappoint. I had the house Mac & cheese & I will say this was the best version I've ever had. The cacio e pepe brussel sprouts was also delicious. Service was exceptional. Will definitely be returning & recommend a visit to my friends & family.

Amazing personable service, the menu has something for everyone which is hard to do & their specials are seasonal & delicious.
Now the wines, they have a great & extensive wine list with great price points PLUS a huge cellar list. If you love wine you must come here & be treated to a great evening of food & wine.
Oh & the dessert menu is superb. Love restaurants where it's hard to choose what to eat because everything sounds & is delicious.

Atrocious service, AVOID THIS PLACE. The woman who came to meet me at their restaurant left in the middle of the meal without paying. Instead of calling the police & filing a complaint against the offender, they pressured me to pay. I will be taking legal action against the restaurant, which acted in bad faith rather than taking the proper legal path of filing a complaint against the person who committed the theft of service.

Service atroce. J'ai vécu une situation inacceptable : une femme que je rencontrais pour la première fois est partie en plein milieu du repas sans payer. Au lieu d'appeler la police & de porter plainte contre la véritable fautive, le restaurant a exercé de la pression sur moi pour régler l'addition complète. Ce comportement démontre une mauvaise fois manifeste. J'entamerai des recours contre l'établissement, qui a choisi la facilité au lieu de suivre la voie légale en visant la personne ayant commis un vol de service.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre repas; entrées de betteraves & asperges du Québec, raviolis & boeuf. Excellent service du jeune sommelier, nous étions avec un groupe pour un événement.
