The food itself is actually quite good.

However, we have had several disappointing experiences.

Once, we came right after the restaurant opened, but the tacos were served cold & the texture was terrible.

Another time, the restaurant was packed, but there was only one server. It was obvious that the server was overwhelmed, which caused slow service & many mistakes. We asked for water many times, but we still did not receive any before we finished our meal.

Another evening, the small patio area outside the entrance was completely empty. Since we had children with us, I asked if we could sit at the tables further inside the patio, away from the entrance. This would have been safer for our children & would have made it easier for other customers & staff to come in & out.

However, the person who seemed to be the owner insisted that we sit at the tables right next to the entrance. I really do not understand the reason behind this decision. After we sat there, our table was actually blocking part of the entrance area, which was inconvenient & less safe for everyone. The owner eventually became impatient, walked away, & left the server to communicate with us. The server just shrugged & seemed helpless.

The food has potential, but the service & management experience have been very disappointing.

It's difficult to find a good taqueria in Montreal - especially after having been to Mexico & tasting real Mexican food, but this restaurant was so good & authentic, I genuinely felt like I was back in Mexico, tasting that delicious food.

A raised of at least 41% from one month to the other. The quality of the food decreased, the flavor is not the same & the meat is not as it used to be.

A really good place if you're looking for suadero tacos; they were the best I've ever had here!!

I've literally had 9 tacos here & want to try the rest of the menu, I would have rolled out of the restaurant if I could.

Blown away from the food & how fresh it is. Super nice staff that cares about their food & your experience.

Don't hate them if they are busy, it isn't their fault they are so good. May as well have an extra drink while you wait.

Killer food, killer staff, killer time.
