Taco & Margarita offers a vibrant and festive atmosphere that many guests find perfect for celebrating birthdays and enjoying live music, karaoke, or sporting events. While many diners praise the authentic and flavorful food, particularly the quesabirria and various tacos, as well as the generous portions and high quality of the cocktails, experiences regarding service and noise levels vary significantly. Several reviewers highlight the friendly and attentive staff who contribute to the energetic vibe, though others report instances of inconsistent service, long wait times, or difficulty with loud music that makes conversation challenging. Some visitors find the pricing and portion sizes to be fair, while others feel the restaurant leans more toward a loud nightclub environment than a traditional dining experience and have noted issues with space, crowded seating, or specific administrative policies regarding reservations and terrace access.
Santiago & the team here at Taco & Margarita were amazing! Service was amazing! Food was authentic & really good. I recommend anything & everything on the menu! Definitely a must try.

My experience was disappointing.
This restaurant now charges $10 + tax per person just to enter & watch the games.
It feels like the restaurant is trying to maximize every possible dollar from its customers during major sporting events, taking advantage of the occasion without considering guests' comfort or the overall dining experience.
The place is extremely overcrowded. The tables are packed so closely together that customers are constantly bumping into each other, & the servers can barely move around to provide service.
Service very slow.
The menu prices are expensive for the quality of the food. I had to send back the Aztec Soup because it tasted very bad.
IN SUMMARY: EXPENSIVE PRICES, AN ENTRANCE FEE TO WATCH THE GAME, SLOW SERVICE, POOR ORGANIZATION, DISAPPOINTING FOOD, & AN OVERCROWDED DINING AREA. IT LIKE A PLACE FOCUSED ON SQUEEZING AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE OUT OF CUSTOMERS THAN ON PROVIDING A PLEASANT DINING EXPERIENCE. I WOULD NOT RETURN.
I am writing to express my disappointment with the inconsistent service I experienced at Taco Margarita.
I visited your restaurant to purchase a pitcher of horchata, a non-alcoholic drink, & was told I was not allowed to sit on the terrace unless I ordered food. Because of this, I had to take the pitcher to go, & it was poured into multiple takeout containers, which was inconvenient & took away from the experience I had planned.
What made the situation even more frustrating is that the very next day, my friend visited your restaurant, ordered the same pitcher of horchata without any food, & was allowed to sit on the terrace without any issue.
I completely understand if the restaurant has a policy regarding terrace seating. However, if such a policy exists, it should be applied consistently to all customers. The difference in how we were treated left me feeling unfairly treated & disappointed

It's always an amazing experience at Taco & Margarita. The service is great & our server (didn't get her name) was very good. The drinks & enchiladas were amazing. My boyfriend & I always have the best time there.
Very disappointing experience due to the attitude of both the staff &, especially, the owner.
We arrived with a confirmed reservation while the restaurant was still mostly empty. We were seated at one of the worst tables, & when we asked if we could move to one with a view of the game, the server told us that we would only be allowed to do so if we met a minimum drink purchase. We had been here before & were never told about such a policy.
When we politely asked for an explanation, the owner responded in a condescending & dismissive tone. He complained that our reservation had been reduced, that he had turned away other customers because of us, & insisted that the other tables were reserved, even though the restaurant was still largely empty.
The issue wasn't the restaurant's policy: it was the way we were treated. We were made to feel that unless we were willing to spend more money, we didn't deserve the same level of service or respect as other customers.
We ended up leaving without ordering anything. It's unfortunate because we had a great experience on our previous visit, but after the way we were treated this time, we won't be coming back.
