My 18 year old daughter wanted a steak & thought it would be a nice place to go. Ordered a 20 oz ribs teak which did not look 20OZ. Undercooked & was not tender. Appeared to have been frozen. Lots of money for an average steak $73.00 A side order of additional fries was $10.00. Service was well intended but cappuccino after meal came 10 - 15 minutes before dessert. Waiter asked if we were satisfied with our meals & my answer was so/so. Didnt bother to ask why not or what could have been different. Expensive, friendly, food did not match the prices ,. very nice decor.View more

Belle ambiance & la nourriture était accceptable. Les frites mama sont délicieuses! Par contre j'avais demandé à la serveuse si on pouvait faire un petit quelque chose avec un dessert pour l'anniversaire de mes deux amis & elle m'a dit oui j'ai demandé si ça coûtait quelque chose, elle m'a dit non sauf qu'à la fin. Je me suis faite charger deux desserts pour un total de 28 $ & quand je lui en ai parlé Elle semblait dire que ça va être un malentendu elle est allée parler à la gérant & ils ont pas voulu rien faire.View more

The food, cocktails & the service was wonderful. Our server Peter answered any questions about the menu & was helpful the whole evening. My guest loved the'famous veggie burger' & the Club sandwich was also really good. Highly recommend the homemade Key Lime pie it was one of the best I have had including when in Florida. The listing on google looked good, so we stopped in for dinner as it was an easy walk from our hotel. Even though the listing said no tables available, the place was only about 1/3 full
We ordered a Caesar salad for a starter. You could taste the anchovy in the dressing, which earned it immediate bonus points from me. If you don't like anchovy, be forewarned. Also, it included lightly crumbled bacon strips. I know, how NOT traditional after including anchovy, but, well, bacon! & how very Canadian to include bacon. It did add a nice crunch & flavor. I'll probably not be making it a part of my homemade Caesar, but it was a really nice change of pace.
I ordered the club sandwich with'mama' fries & my companion had the shrimp burger. The club was fantastic! It had pieces of roast chicken that tasted like they were just pulled from the bone, plenty of cheese, bacon, & thin slices of granny smith apple. What a fantastic combination. It all worked well.
For the shrimp burger, imagine a large crab cake except made from shrimp, then on a bun like a burger. It was very tasty
The'mama' fries were made from fresh Yukon gold potatoes, sliced a little thicker & fried darker. They were good. The regular fries were shoestring fries, so make your choice based on your preference.
I know we started with the Caesar, but neither of us could completely finish our meals - the serving sizes were generous.
The service was top rate. Always present, never overbearing. Friendly & efficient. Just the way it should be.
