⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had a wonderful dining experience at Tabla Restaurant. The Chicken Tikka was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, & full of authentic Indian flavors. The rice was fresh & aromatic, & the naan was soft, warm, & delicious. Every dish was well-prepared & tasted amazing. The staff were friendly, & the service was excellent. If you are looking for tasty Indian food in Montreal, I highly recommend Tabla Restaurant. I will definitely come back again!
The interior design is very nice. Very peaceful not a lot of traffic which is surprising.
Butter chicken is on the sweeter end. You can tell it's designed for the clientele around the area. (Western palate)Not the most authentic butter chicken you'll get.
For the price you're getting a good amount of food. The service was amazing! Server was super attentive. Granted there were only 3 tables seated around 8pm on a Thursday.
I had dinner last night. I had the combo AA; the butter chicken was just perfect, & the lamb bhuna tasted really great. More than enough food for a couple to spend a nice evening in the village. Will be returning soon 😃
Edit:
Came here with family after a year, & the food is just as good as I remember, if not better. The restaurant also got a makeover - new terrace & dining booth. I would say it's really a fantastic spot to have the village experience
Our server was very kind & it was quiet for dinner time. I had the chicken tikka masala. Good- nothing special. Garlic naan break was also good. There are limited options in the Village for food so if you're craving Indian & you can sit on the patio in the summer this is a good option.
Had a great experience at Tabla, asked for the table d'hôte & was very worth the price. Onion baji was one of the best I had at an Indian restaurant, loved the naan, great butter chicken that came with a side & really enjoyed the small dessert too, would definitely be back for more.
Staff is always so nice & the food is delicious. The portions are very generous, as usually in Indian restaurants. This has been a favorite spot for take outs during the week for the past months.
Edit 2025-02-01 : unfortunately, the quality of the has downgraded dramatically in the last six months, both on delivery & to go options. The butter chicken is so watery & bland, the samosas are half the size they were before, & papadam is always in pieces.
I just had the most amazing experience with Punjabi cuisine! I ordered the thali, & it was absolutely the best; every bite was bursting with flavor! My partner chose the zafrani chicken, & he couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was! It was truly a delightful feast that we both loved!
