The service is described as fast and efficient, with friendly staff and a playful robot presence that adds to the experience. Bringing your own wine is a popular perk, and the lively atmosphere makes it a good spot for families and groups celebrating occasions. While some comments mention variability in taste, temperature, or timing during busy periods, most diners leave impressed by freshness and breadth of options. Overall, Sushiuma feels like a reliable choice for sushi lovers seeking variety, speed, and value in Montreal.
The sushi was nicely prepared, & the flavors were well-balanced. I especially enjoyed the Mango Tango sushi it had a great combination of sweet & savory, & the mango added a refreshing twist.
The ice cream was a nice way to end the meal -smooth & not too sweet. Service was fine & the place was clean. Would come back again for a casual bite.

i like this place, the sushi is testy & is all you can eat. If you go 12 - 2 pm is $29 if i dont mistake, kids until 6 half price & under 3 yrs free so wwhy not give it a try ! i personally like it & my kids too.
Excellent sushi. Located in a busy part of downtown Montreal. There is room for a greater variety of rolls but quality is high on their list. Reservation process was simple.

Unfortunately, the food here is not good. The rice was dry & flavorless & the fish was not cut well & not fresh. The meat skewers had a very strange texture. Even the ginger & wasabi tasted & looked old. At least there is a cute robot that delivers food to your table. Would not recommend.
You can bring your own wine which is great! Food & price is good & the service is fast. The only ick was some of the servers. I've been there a few times with a friend & I always feel like our presence bothers them. Barely a smile & they don't really talk to you. This one guy always side eyeing us like he wants us to leave. I understand it's busy & time is limited (usually 1.5 - 2 hours max) which I respect. But even before the time is over, you feel them rushing you & wanting you to leave.
Had a great evening here with my friends. Food was fresh & delicious. You can bring your own wine. Servers are nice & friendly with a cute robot helping lol
