Sushiuma showcases an all you can eat format with high quality sushi and a wide range of cold and hot dishes that many reviewers say deliver great value. The service is described as fast and efficient, with friendly staff and a playful robot presence that adds to the experience. Bringing your own wine is a popular perk, and the lively atmosphere makes it a good spot for families and groups celebrating occasions. While some comments mention variability in taste, temperature, or timing during busy periods, most diners leave impressed by freshness and breadth of options. Overall, Sushiuma feels like a reliable choice for sushi lovers seeking variety, speed, and value in Montreal.
It's a bit pricey unless you get here for the lunch menu between 11h30-13h30 which is like 30 before tx.
The food itself is nice but the sushi selection is slightly limited during lunch time. There is a decent variety of dishes overall. I personally recommend the'nigiri au feu' which they come & torch it on your table.
For most dishes aside from the torched nigiris, a cute robot will come & hand you your food.
I hold personal attachment to the original Fisshu so I am biased in my review of this sushi joint. I am sure better exists but this is my personal go-to.
Great value for money. The sushis are really good, the service is fast & effective, but the decor used to be much nicer before the renovations. Unsure why the restaurant was renovated to make it look worse. Still, I wouldn't hesitate coming back!
This is a great spot to have all you can eat sushi 🍣 they also have sashimi ! I would suggest to order the table side torched nigiri with Tuna & Salom, very fresh & delicious food. They also have a bunch of hot dishes that are ok if you like fried food & meat equires. 🍡 The robot service is a cute novelty.🤖 The lunch menu is a bit more limited but still very good & more affordable. We often bring our staff from the office & they love it. Service is very quick so pretty great for lunch if you have at leat 1 hour to spare.

Decent all you can eat restaurant. The tempura was nice. The fried rice was ok, one person of our pay ordered & theirs came nicely plated. When the second person ordered the same fried rice, it came on a little side place looking a little messy. The sushi was average. I think the appetizers were better than the miso & sushi. The pad thai was very flavourful. Overall a decent all you can eat restaurant. Seemed very popular as when we were leaving there was a huge line up & the restaurant was packed. This was a Saturday evening.
The sushi is ok, but the takoyaki & sushi pizza are mediocre, they really cheap out on toppings. It was very funny to see the service robot fail horrendously at its job though! It stole our ice cream & the waitress had to run after it to retreive it for us!

We have eaten here on many occasions before a show at PDA. This time, the sushi was very filling, bc it was 75%+ rice! Very little fish or veggies. Saturday is one of the most expensive days & I got the least for my money of all the times we have dined here. I can understand trying to reduce costs, but this was pathetic & over-obvious that they were trying to ensure you eat as little as possible. My fear near the end of our meal was that we were going to be able to finish our first order (very modest) & then be charged $1 per piece on TOP of the $42/pp. Hopefully the next time we visit will be better, otherwise, we'll find another sushi restaurant to enjoy.
I came here with my parents & let me tell you it was so disappointing, the sushi it was full of rice & not the actual ingredients, also u have to order things twice cause it will never come, so in conclusion if you only want to eat rice & only rice just come here
I had a great time here :) All the food was really tasty! They have a great selection, & the portions were just the right size so as to be able to sample a bunch of different things but also get your money's worth. The service was also very polite & quick. I would for sure come back!!
